Here’s a copy of the email for those who did not receive it. Let me know if you need the flyer. I will need your email address:

“Hi All,

Here is the flyer from Bob Shaw at Operations Plus. If you are interested in a nice set of meatballs and numbers he is offering us a great deal. I spoke with ET and we will only be required to have numbers on each door (2 sets of numbers minimum and 4 if you want hood and deck lid) . Bob has a list of numbers which are already taken and he’s keeping track as the orders come in. As I said in the Club Cobra post http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/show...611#post623611 , these meatballs are an option. You can just use some low stick masking tape and make your own numbers. But if you want to be looking good for the camera, this is a great deal Bob is offering.

Please see attachment. Give Bob a call and place your orders directly with him.

Thank you, John Marsey”

As of today, 3/29, I believe these numbers are taken:

02 - Lamaluv
08 - cindrrr
11 – 4pipes
13 – jmarsey
15 – Steve Bandirola
23 – decooney
28 – Secret Squirrel
35 – Dan Duvall
36 – Larry Johnson
38 – Scooter
56 – dblbarrel
58 – Terry Brown
65 – Cobrasnake
66 – CaliCobra
98 – Flip Top / Turd
187 – Tmareina
211 – Chuck Robertson

This is all I know at this time. Bob will keep track, from here on out, as you call him to place order. If I've missed anyone, you can post here to let others know too.

Thanks, John

I think by the time you get a reusable set for both doors with a roller, backing, and shipping, it's around 50 bucks.

Sent "Bob" an e-mail. Telephone answering machine said they won't be back until April 4.

Since "3" is my permanant number for Nor Cal SAAC, I was hoping to be able to reserve it. Let me know. Thanks. John(;-)

Cowtown Cobra,

Far Away? We have people coming further away again from Ohio, Florida, Canada, and another trying to get his car done in time from New Jersey. C'mon out West. Your right it is going to be fun - Bring your Cowboy hat!

Arrow Bob Shaw Operations Plus 714-962-2776

Thank you Jamo,

Yes, please don't ask me for numbers at this point, call Bob Shaw at Operations Plus and order your numbers directly with him. He is working from a master list and will know what's taken and what's available. If some of you have duplivates, we will add a letter or something to your number. It's not like we're racing so don't worry. We are just trying to all have different numbers as much as possible.

As Jamo said, please give Bob a call at 714-962-2776. He will be back on Tuesday April 4th. www.cobracountry.com/opsplus/

Thank you, John

Just had an extremely funny phone call with Bob Shaw and ordered up #50 for my numbers set.

He was assplaining how to get through turn 9 at Willow Springs, and how the correct way feels so darn unnatural. When I told him that his way didn't sound right, he told me he understood cuz "dying ain't natural" but that it did work.

Really good guy...thanked him for helping us all out with this.

I talked with ET last night and she is really looking forward to the track day on Friday. I made reservations for her driving school on the Monday and Tuesday after the WSCB. I attended her school in October of last year and had a ball. Traveling from Idaho to Fernley takes about 6 hours so I am taking advantage of being in the Sparks/Reno area for the Bash to continue my "drivers training". (maybe if enough people signed up we could get a discount)
I will be retiring in October and plan on loading my Cobra in the Serpent Express and pulling it behind my motorhome around the country. I'm trying to get my comp license so that I can opentrack at some of the famous tracks as we travel. Either way it will be the perfect car to go pick up groceries and sightseeing. The ultimate dinghy!

I've already got meatballs for #113. It looks like no one reserved that # yet.
