Wscb 2006
Duane,
First things first...THANK YOU!!! I have been responsible for a car gathering for the last five years (a different mark) so I know exactly what it takes to put together what you have done. It was SUPERB!!! In fact, it was the BEST event I have ever attended!
So...I am definitely coming back next year. Please put me on the priority list.
Also, that track is AWESOME...we have got to do that again!!
Fantastic venue!! The secured area on the 4th/5th floor for our cars was phenominal!
This was a FIRST CLASS event.
I can hardly wait for next year...

Simply the BEST
Hi,
Duane ,Erika, linda and Bob literally ran their feet off [blisters] for all of us- THANK YOU !
We had an amazing time;
1st off we meet on I-5 for 2 daytona coupes to come with the 4 cobras.
Then Peter Brock steps out of the red one! What a real pleasure to cruise with him!
We survive the 97* heat through Medford and Steve just missed a deer in the Lassen park woods.
We push through Susanville in the dark only to loose my trans fluid and pull into a dark rural lane. We were sunk until the good folks of Susanville took care of us.
Get into the Nugget the next day to a hoard to nasty snakes!
Dennis breaks a distributor and I think the FE guy and others helped him.
Hearing the real stories that Pete and Dick told- priceless.
Meeting old friends and new friends - priceless.
My wife chose to spend our anniversary at the car show! gotta Luv her!
Got 40 miles north on the way home only to change an MSD box on Freds cobra on the side of the HWY.
Ran 2 days of cold and rain to get home last night with a soaked and filthy cobra.
ALL in ALL we had a fabulous time!!!!!!!
The NW ladies [ Brenda,Penny, Kathi and Bev] deserve the best gall's award !
Perry.

Barely missed it!
We got so lucky last weekend with the Saturday 100 mile drive over Mt. Rose and through Squaw Valley with clear roads, blue sky, white puffy clouds - as Stroker Bob always says.
Reportedly it snowed like 4" recently in Squaw again right after we departed. The Gods were with us last Saturday, thank goodness. I still get comments and emails from people talking about how much they all enjoyed that drive. It was amazing.

The drive to Mt Rose & Squaw was fantastic. The little 2 lane road around the lake was very scenic.

Duane,
Thank you for all your hard work, I had a great time and can't wait till next year. Is there any chance of getting a poster from this year?
Mike

Hi Mike,
I owe one to Jim Norris and thought I recall you asking before. I ran out at the Bash. In order to get one at a reasonable price I have to do a run of 30+ pre-paid to save another $5 each; otherwise they are a bit too expensive. email me at wscb@comcast.net and I'll get you the details. Thanks, DC
