Hi Ron & Track Folks,

WSCB will only be offering Track Day on the presently scheduled Friday and will not be offering any additional track days. Friday is it. There have been some significant changes with regard to Track Day that has allowed us to add 20 more spots for a total of 80. Once those 20 are gone, and they almost are, that will be it. Along with the extra spots, we will now be providing our own instruction by RCSC (River City Shelby Club) which we are very excited about. We have to solely focus on Friday since we are now putting on the entire event.

If you are registered, you should have received the WSCB Status Update email from Duane yesterday explaining the changes. If you guys are still interested in an additional or other day at the track, please contact and make arrangements with the track directly. There may still be a few spots available for the WSCB-Track Day so let us know asap if anyone is interested.

Thank you, John Marsey

Hi John,

I don't believe I got the e-mail from Duane you mentioned, but I should be registered since the track day check cleared. I'm guessing Duane may be behind schedule.

thanks,
Gene

Hi Gene,

Glad you got a Track Day spot.

You didn't get Duane's email and I don't see that you've checked in for your car number? You should have both. All enrollees should be on the email list.

You'll need to get your car number assigned by the number police if you are planning to do Track Day. Let me know if there is anything I can help with, ok?

Thanks, John

Hi Gene/All,

YES, I'm only into last name of D's in the Add/new registrations and emails this year. Also, I have 20 more to pick up at the Registrars. I hope to catch up on emails/adding to the list in a week or so. i'll send a major update then.

THANKS!
Duane

Thanks for the quick replies gentlemen.

John, per your request I sent you a PM for a car number just after I submitted my registration several weeks ago. I had requested number 70 because I already have a set of decals and the number had not been taken at the time.

Since we are on the subject of car numbers, am I required to have numbers on the nose and back end for the event or are side numbers good enough?

thanks,
Gene

John,

Thanks for the reply. Bummer I won't be able to do the track day, I can't get Friday off. I may try to come up just for the weekend though.

Ron

Hey Ron,

If you can't make it on Friday then I would highly recommend bombing up Friday night or even early Saturday morning. The 100 mile Drive on Saturday, car show late afternoon, and get-together Saturday night is absolutely super! I had the best time on the drive last year with my daughter. It was my most favorite event of the 4 days there. Ask anyone who went last year. You need to be there!

Hope to see you there, John
