Hi Folks,
We who support WSCB and Track Day would like to recognize and give the “Thumbs Up!” to WSCB’s very own Karen Salvaggio. She will be racing in the Annual Thunderhill 25-Hour Enduro this weekend. Along with three other team drivers, Karen will be piloting her FFR Spec Racer #14 over the course of 25 hours competing in the longest and most grueling endurance race in North America.
Karen and husband Andy attended the 2007 WSCB & Track Day, sporting their 2 spec racers, and were a huge help with instruction, tech, and just plain great company. They plan to attend the Bash next year and help out once again. For the 2008 WSCB Track Day participants, look to hear more from Karen, and a few other racers I am heading up, regarding a mini track seminar at the Nugget 5/15/08. More on this later.
There will be a live webcam broadcasting from the hot pits, see link below. The race starts Saturday 11am and ends noon Sunday so check it out if you get a chance. I won’t be able to watch because I’ll be there helping them out this time.
So from all of us here at WSCB,
"Good Luck Karen!"

#14 Team Racing 4A Reason Cobra Set to Run
25 Hours of Thunderhill December 1-2, 2007
Greetings to Our Racing Friends!
The #14 Team Racing 4A Reason Cobra is decked out in full race trim for the 25 Hours Race, and she's sleeping soundly in the pits tonight at Thunderhill Raceway in Willows, CA. It's been a long road to Thunderhill, and our 25 Hours racing effort would not be possible without the help of so many of our Cobra family and friends. On behalf of the entire team, thanks to everyone for your support and good wishes on our racing endeavors.
This year, we are honored to be running in support of the United Spinal Association (
www.unitedspinal.org), and I encourage you to visit their website and learn more about the great work this wonderful organization is doing to enhance the lives of individuals with spinal cord injuries. In a world filled with so many opportunities and so many needs, one might ask, how can one person make a difference? Well, to me, we make that difference one person and one relationship at a time...Soon enough those relationships create connections, and with enough energy and passion, those relationships make great things happen. Well my friends, with your help....Great things are happening!
Here's a link to our story, and to a live webcam which will be broadcasting from the hot pits at Thunderhill:
