WSCB 2008: Kit Car Magazine, Nov. issue
Kit Car has released the WSCB 2008 / Western States Cobra Bash article for the November issue. There is a new Red Backdraft GT40 on the front cover, and reference to London Cobra Show, WSCB, and Unique Homecoming events all together in one "events" issue.
Mail order copies are out now and typically hit the news stands within a few weeks after from what I've seen before. Dan and Co. were still working on the giant panaramic photo of all the cars wrapped around the back corner at the time Kit Car asked for photos, so that one is not included in this article, but there are a few other nice ones in there.
Funny thing is, I got a photo yesterday from Alan Haynes, photographer, and was thinking about making it into a poster for my office and garage because it sort of captures a special moment in time for me about WSCB at Track Day over the years and what it became. When I came home this afternoon and opened my mailbox, and went through the mail going through pages of Kit Car magazine to see what they chose to use for the spread, there it was, that same photo. Definitely one I plan to frame and keep for sure.
Again, thanks to ALL of you who participated over the four years at WSCB helping to make it such a success from 2005-2008. Something I will never forget.

What a great event! I'm glad I made it to one before it was over. Thanks Duane and crew for all the hard work. You made it look too easy, so I'm sure no one really understands how hard it was to put on such a huge event. I'm hoping to make it to the track event and see some new old friends!
Thanks again to Duane, John and all the crew!
Doug
PS - Will there be a DVD???

Memories.
Thanks You guys. I appreciate the little step back in time for a moment. WSCB was a big deal for me, and still is, in so many different ways. Was a very difficult decision in the end, but a smart one for now. Preserving the memory as it was was also important too.
As for a DVD, well...hmmmm...there is a photo DVD with a bunch of photos on it, along with an overly expensive coffee table photo book (high cost due to low volume), and a few other things that Dan LePage came out with as prototypes just for fun.
If someone really wants a DVD, i can talk with Dan about running a batch if we can get 25 people who want them so we can do a real batch at our friends place with the DVD maker. And, as for the book, I'd need to check with Dan, they are amazing, but ridiculously expensive as single units. A batch of 20 books or more is required just to save 30% and even then, they still cost about 5x of what a normal photo book should. Feel free to send a PM, and I'll send back an email address by PM only. Duane

I would just like to get some of the photos in good quality. In the Kit Car article, there was the one of the three Brock coupes all together which I would really like to have a quality copy of. I would definitely be willing to pay something for a photo DVD, but understand if there is not enough return to justify it.
