Another New Member - if I can afford the dues, that is
I just registered here at Club Cobra after lurking for a while. I picked-up my FFR (#7074) this past weekend (details in the All Cobra Talk section), so I can use all the info I can get; along with a good local support group.
I made the trip out to Amboy and met quite a few of you, so I thought it was about time I officially signed-up. I'll try to make it out to Byron this weekend - here's hoping for good weather.
Let me know what I need to do in order to become a WCCC member, too. I already have a bridge in NY, but that ocean front property in AZ sounds like a good addition to my portfolio. Do you guys take cash?
Later,
Chris

Hi, Chris. Yes, I remember you from Amboy, we talked for a long time.
I think dues are only $20 or $25 per year and Bob Brown is current Pres. I will forward his e-mail address tonight to you via a PM. Or e-mail me at home and I will forward to Bob. My home e-mail is cobradreamer@gmail.com
As far as how to pay the dues, just give me your credit card and I will take care of it. TTTTThrust me.
Follow the posts on the Byron Drag Races and hope to see you there.

Thanks, Lee. I remember talking with you. I met quite a few of the guys that day and everyone was pretty patient with me and all my questions. Took home tons of great ideas, too.
Here are a couple pictures of my car - there are a couple more in the All Cobra Talk thread.

I forwarded your e-mail address to Bob. Be careful, Bob has been known to jack up the price to join.

Dues!
Be sure to state that your car will be RED! You'll get "special" pricing.

Still leaning towards dark red, but Guardsman Blue keeps catching my eye. Then again, there's always silver, or charcoal, or black, or... .

Congrats on your purchase, I think you will enjoy the company here. Go with the red. I just haven't seen very many FFR Cobra's in Red.

Jamoore - Yep, just starting; actually still working on refurbing a few of the donor parts (front uprights, rear end, etc...). I'll keep you guys posted on the build and let you know if I need a hand. If you're interested in getting your feet wet, though, you may want to check-out the Factory Five build school over in Michigan. I think they even give a discount on the car if you order one after taking the school.
