I'm up to this ride. I contacted high school friend in Kansas City (he has FFR Cobra). He will bring this up to his local club next week.

We are planning on this trip.

The ride on Rt 125 was great when Buddy and Barb were with us last year.

curious about this, is this a multiple drive cobra thing, you guys leave the cars out at night, trailer the cars in? sounds like fun.

vector1 , Some will trailer the Cobras and some will drive as it is to London Show and yes we leave them out at night and cover them over with car covers and plastic traps if it looks like rain. The big appeal to this event is two fold . One is the roads in the area are great and mapped out well. Two is the evening entertainment . Please join us !

Sounds like fun. I took mine the the Super Summer Cruise last year and had a blast driving the roads around Branson. I plan on coming, and going to the Super summer Cruise on Aug 12-14 just before that.

Arcenio: As I see it now we have 10 Cobras from our group that have said either they are going or are waiting to see if they can go as time nears, which is always the case. As for other groups , I have over 73 private Replys from around the Midwest and as it nears I think there will be another 10 Cobras from that group. A number of clubs may not come as a group but individuals may show up.

Conflict in plans, other priorities take precedence. We can't make Branson. Have a good time.

Thanks for posting the first photos of the trip to Branson, MO.

Yes, it was also one of our best vacation trips of our life as well.

We were very glad to meet you both and hope we can get together in the future for more trips.

I have to add to the last photo you took and tell "the rest of the story"

The guy in the van in the last photo stopped and with his British accent told me he used to race a Lotus 7 against Cobra's back in the day. He was old enough and said he lived in the area where AC was located in England. Since you caught the van in a photo, it did happen, but I did not get his name.

Not two minutes after he left another guy came up and said he had a Cobra also. He joined us for supper. This all happened in BLUE EYE Ark. If you blinked twice you missed it. (sorry, but it is a very small town) This goes to prove that when you drive these cars, amazing things happen. This couple is Allen and Lee, I hope they see this post and want to say thanks for joining us.

We too think this was the greatest trip we have made with the Cobra. The roads in Missouri and Arkansas are amazing! We had so much fun with the group and really glad that Larry & Alison, the guys from the St. Louis area and Lee and Allen could join us. This trip should be an annual event! Will try and add some pictures in next post. Great pictures, Larry!
