Great planning meeting

Thanks to the members for a great turn out at the planning meeting. We now have three new members. To the members who were not able to attend, you still can post any event you would like to sponsor or send me or any other director a private e-mail. We will be updating our member list and e-mailing it to all the members as soon as we can. Also we will be sending you the Calender of Events Schedule and their sponsors. Our treasurer, Mark Procter, will be e-mailing you as to how to send in your dues for 2010. It looks like a great year with the largest list of events planned we have ever had.

Marty Heller brought up also that a number of day trips in the surrounding area will be posted during the year as weather permits. A few examples are a trip to Starved Rock for Sunday Brunch; Amboy car show, etc. If you know of a car show you want the group to attend, let your directors know or post it here.

We will be using the following forms of notification: (1) Evites to let you know of up coming events and (2). Posting events on-line. John Spina is setting up a private club web site that will come out shortly. We will e-mail you when it is up and running.
As for the Evites your humble directors ask you responed to them ASAP, Tim Gallagher was asked to set up the planning meeting and it was made more difficult by not knowing how may would be in attendance in order to obtain a restaurant appropriate for the size of attendees. Please respond to the E-vites as there were only a few chairs not in use Sunday.
