Went by Dyno Dans place today. I thought the cars was running pretty good. My mistake. Picked up 40 horsepower and 40 lbs. ft. Should be interesting.

Hey Chris,
First pull (same as when I went 10.60) 471.19 hp. 543.78 tq.
Last pull (after adding 4 jet sizes) 511.49 hp. 568.25
My mistake. Only gained 25 lbs. torque.

contest?
So, who's gonna get the best reaction time? 60 ft time? I also think a heads up championship, (forget the time slips for an elimination round), let's see who get across the line first and put some pressure on the braggers and see if they can consistently run without botching a launch. If it's too close to call we go to the time slips.
How 'bout a class for the best E.T for Turbo's and superchargers vs. Big Blocks above 400c.i.?
And 400 c.i. and below non-supercharger or turbo. The 302's shouldn't have to run with the big dogs.

How many more categories do we need? How about married, single widowed, gay or divorced?! Just race.

Just a suggestion
EMK - Just throwing out ideas. With regard to: "How many more categories do we need? How about married, single widowed, gay or divorced?!"
It is interesting that going from ONE to TWO catagories seems overwhelmingly complicated... I must have engine envy 392 vs. 532.

Sorry guys, I cannot make it now. I have a scheduling conflict, there is a tournament that weekend for my daughter's soccer team that I coach. I just got the schedule and we have two games on May 8th, mid morning and early afternoon - no chance of sneaking out there for a few hours. Good luck, have fun and stay safe!

I would love to be there to represent the Blue cars, but I will be out of town. If you recall last year, I just got back my car with a rebuilt motor and clutch, at the track I had a defective clutch which almost didn't let me get home. Since then I have had it replaced and the car feels strong, added wider / stickier rubber and still they spin up in smoke.
Is there a driver that would take my car to the track and see what it can do, Wolfie, don't even think about it, we know how you keep-em together.
I have heard a lot about those Buick turbos, but still not to many results. Good Luck, I'll have to try later, when WCCC visit the track for a second round.

At dinner (La Hacienda) tonight there was almost no one planning on going Saturday. Of those that do plan to go, is there a meeting place for a drive there together? My Clayton engine may be done tomorrow, but it's still weeks away from having the new headers fabricated and the car on the road.
So, Saturday I'll just do a few runs in the ZO6. I'd still like to travel with the Cobras, though.

Well, I didn't "wimp" out before, but I'm afraid I have no choice. Have to head to Missouri with the wife. Orders from the top. Maybe next time.

As much as I hoped to be at the track, the car is not race-worthy...still missing the right injectors. Sooooo, no show for turbos.
Next time for sure. Sorry for not being there!
