Default Any interest in a dyno day?

My son manages a speedshop in Schaumburg (A-Spec Tuning where they build fast RX-7s, do LS1 transplants, etc). They have a Dynojet. I'm sure the rates would be pretty good for WCCC. Do we have any interest in setting something up?

Default Do they tune?

Pete, sounds good. Do they do any tuning? Maybe the weekend before Byron.

They tune, but it's focused on RX-7 engines. When I asked them about doing a carb, my son said....."like on a lawnmower?" The Claytons were there when I did my pulls last year. So, if we can get enough interest, I can get a day scheduled (even a Sat. or Sun)

I would be interested. Please keep me in the loop.

No tuning just a couple of pulls is good for me.
Can i bring my own tuner?

Thanks

No problem bringing a tuner. (as long as it doesn't monopolize dyno time)

My car is tuned from a lap top.
So one run for info sake, second run after lap top tweaking.
Takes liitle to no time at all.

As I wrote earlier, A-Spec doesn't know what a carb looks like, but their tuner can tune fuel-injection as long as the ECU allows access. Tuning would incur costs beyond that of the dyno pulls, I'm sure. Right now I'm just trying to guage WCCC interest in a dyno event.
