Default Nitto nto5r drag radials are amazing!!

Posting this for the the whole country rather than just the WCCC.

I dropped a full second off the E.T. at the strip, 12.9 to 11.9 and posted a 1.6 60ft time and didn't really get into it because I was trying to keep my half shaft in one piece.

I just ripped away from a new Z06 at a stop on the street, when the driver caught me at the next light the driver couldn't believe I could explode out of the hole on regular road like I did, it wasn't even close. He was really mad when I told him it wasn't even a 427, just a "little" 392 stroker.

When the tires are at full pressure, they seem to handle aggressive turns as well as my Goodyear Eagle F1's. I am sure they wont last as long with a zero tread wear rating, but man - I can't get enough of these things, I'm blown away. Try them, let me know what you think - just not in the rain!

Some years ago,I bought a set of BFG drag radials for my 65 fastback, 3200 lb. car, about 350 hp, picked up 1/2 second right off the bat.........

They work extremely well at the drag strip, never really ran them on the road.........

I'd guess wet road conditions would not be very good....

After reading your raves about the Nittos I looked into some for my car because traction WILL be a problem. They don't make them in my size, so I'm going with Mickey Thompson Street ETs. I hope they work as well as the Nittos did for you.
