Lightbulb Ottawa Cruise Night

Friday, June 18th, the LaSalle County Cruisers has invited the WCCC to attend their annual event - "Ottawa Cruise Night". This is their main event of the year and it is getting bigger every year. The director, Gary Hamilton, sent me an invite and asked us to let him know if any Cobra will attend and that we will be parked together.

LaSalle County Cruisers do a nice job and they have been well organized in the past and since I'm from Ottawa I would like to show up with a number of Cobras.

Agenda : 1st assembly point where I work, Bob Jass Chevrolet Hwy. 47 in Elburn - leaving at 3:30 taking Hwy. 47 South to Hwy 71 which is at the south end of Yorkville; (there ae two gas stations there if you want to fall from there); turning south on 71 continuing on to Interstate 80; turning right on 80 west three miles to exit 90 (Hwy 23); turning left on 23 one block to Krogers parking lot 2nd assembly point: Estimated time of arrival 4:45, then drive drive down town to Lasalle Street parking.

The following Thursday is London and this would be a great test run before London. Please e-mail me or post if you can join us and attend ASAP.

As always, WEATHER PERMITTING

I thought I would put it out there early to see who maybe available. In downtown Ottawa there is Bianch's Pizza, it is well revered in the area for making a great pizza and is right on LaSalle Street where we will be parking. Maybe attendees would like to have some pizza while we are sitting on our lawn chairs? I hope the weather cooperates and we have a nice evening ride home.

I may go. I have hung out with the LC Cruiser before and attended their car shows. Good group of guys. Ottawa has a great cruising scene too.

Bob,

Saturday the 19th is the WCCC "Run to the Rock" Poker Run to Starved Rock provided the weather is good. Two trips back to back to Ottawa is a bit much for me, trying to get ready for the Poker run. Hope you can attend.

Ok WCCC members the Ottawa Cruise Night is near and since the Run To The Rock has been changed to a new date and M-A-Y-B-E the weather will cooperate . I would like to invite everyone to attend the LaSalle County Cruisers event this Friday. I will be watching the weather forecast and will post a yea or nay no later than Friday Morning. Please let me know if you plan on attending and we will RUMBLE into Ottawa together.

Maybe is all I can say right now.

I am on a work related trip and and in Minn now, should be home Thursday I hope. However, I broke a return spring on one of the carbs last weekend and it is on order plus I may have a problem with one of the steering u-joints.

I need to get it all together for the LCS trip.
