Wolfie
I am much more familiar with Roosters………….. I am just saying.
They do crow at sunrise. Now, I agree that would be a bit early.

Seriously, I guess I would like to get though any traffic areas before any rush hour issues. Any time after noonish would be good for me – what does anyone else think?

By the way does anyone know what the road repair situation might be? Will we have problems driving up or not?

Your chickens must be famished by noon - Ours get fed no later than 9:00 AM - course they're Banker chickens, the blue collar chickens are usually fed soon after the roosters shut up.

Talkin' 'bout Roosters, did ya know one good rooster can "service" 10 horney chickens? YUP, a good 'un can!

OOPS, I was wrong!
Fact is he can hump twice as many!

"How many hens should a rooster be with?
Optimum number of hens per rooster is between 12 and 20. A rooster does not have to mate with each hen daily to produce fertile eggs. One mating each 5 or 6 days will keep the hen fertile."

I tell ya, in my next life I'm gonna be a Rooster!

Wow……….Wolfie…….
I hate to tell you this……….. I always thought you were the leader of the ‘strange’ people in the club but you got nothing on Ralphie. I mean when he gets reincarnated he still wants to be called Ralphie; however, he wants to be covered in feathers/ wake up at the crack of dawn/ then crow about his ‘accomplishments’ ---- actually it is not a significant difference from this life.……..…..
I am just saying.

At any rate I have an update as to early and late departures on Friday:

The early group: (Anyone want to call a departure time?)
Me
Arcenio & Sue
Wolf & Mary
Bob M
Mike & Kim

The late group:
Fred & Sue
Mark & Laura

Is there anyone else????

I can leave most anytime I finish milking the cows. However, I think it takes Wolfie somewhat longer to milk the bulls. So we should check with him.

OK, I suggest that the "early" group meet at the Road Ranger station at the Hampshire exit I-90 At such time to be able to depart there for Devils Head no later than Noon. If the consensus is earlier, that's fine with me too.

The later group will be leaving around 3PM, maybe, but probably not sooner. Mark and Fred to stay in touch on Friday to see how the day plays out with work schedules. I will be trailering, just in case, you never know....
Anyone else for the late ride give Mark or Fred a call.
Mark we should also pick a spot to meet, any suggestions?

Fred

Thanks to Mike and Kim for planning this event. Mark and I had a great time driving and hanging out with friends. Mark even drove so much over the weekend, he had me drive part of the way home!
