Autocross in the rain (Pics)
We got wet, but had fun! Anyone can do when it is dry outside.

Galla4 in the rain too!
Backdraft (BDR) and Factory Five (FFR) representing the WCCC. We were the only two knuckheads dumb enough to drive with no top through the down pour.

Jim: Thanks for taking the soggy pictures. I like the one of you with the windshield wipers going nuts! Hope we get a chance to do this again under dry circumstances.
Next time you want to go to Gingerman, get in touch with me.

Slider701,
I blew a wheel bearing the night before on the 40 mile cruise through MI and could not get it fixed in time. I sat and watched my buddies race all weekend, did a little shot gun a couple times. Stupid $80 part kept me out of the fun. The worst part, I got to ride out the huge thunderstorm that passed through Chicago on the side of the road that borders Lake MI, I watched it come in over the lake and was praying my friends would get back with the trailer in time. No such luck, rode it out for an hour, with trees blowing down all around, 70 mile and hour gusts in a friends 64 convertable Plymouth Belvidere - that leaked... Thank heavens for the tonneau cover for the Corbra. Next time.

Galla4 (tim),
I didn't take the pics, there are about 20 of your car and mine on the SCSCC site. You can download them, they have great shots of your ride. Here's the link: http://andyseipos.com/p350261893
I had a great time, it was nice meeting you. I need to get on a track so I will take you up on Gingerman. I may also hit the Autobahn with a guy from the Chicago Classic Car Club as well.
Jim
