25 September - Hot Rod Barn
I cam across a facility in Morris IL. called The Hot Rod Barn, www.thehotrodbarn.com, this is a one stop shop for all your hot rod needs. I thought this would be a great place to take a drive to when we have nothing better to do or they are having an open house on Sept 25th if anyone is interested. Go to the web site to see more on the open house. We could do a cruse to the facility as a club stay for the show or not. Lets here who might be interested in going.

Anyone interested in a Snake-n-Eggs prior to taking a trip to the Hot Rod Barn we could meet 9:30am at Einstein's Bagels or at Butterfields Rest. in Naperville, take a backroad ride down to the show and see what they have to offer; any takers? Weather permitting of course.

Okay, lets meet at the Einstein,s off Freedom Drive just south of 88 in Naperville at 9:30, we still can have breakfast and it will be quicker than Butterfields. Lets plan on leaving for the Hot Rod Barn by 10:30. We'll take a backroad drive to the Barn and should arive by 12 noon. Fred

Hey guys,
Don't mean to crash your thread but stubbled across it this am and good friend of mine (from many years ago) Bernie owns and operates the Hot Rod Barn you are planning your trip too. He did a 1965 Mustang for me making it a real cool vintage GT350R replica back in the early 80s... Haven't seen him in 20 plus years but would love to see some pics of your trip and his event. Have fun and hope you have great weather that day!

When someone questions your age...just say "I'm 39 and holding". Works for me!!!
