I don't know, it is "far" to drive. Must be all of 10 miles for me.

See you guys there.

Note, it is in the Clock Tower Hotel off I90 and State Street.

Okay, First I need to correct the misinformation previously written (probably by an owner of a Red car) on this thread.
First, Sky King flew a Cessna. The plane was name ‘The Songbird’. I have been told by people much older than I, he in fact, replaced his original plane in the later days of the series with an ‘updated’ plane but it was still a Cessna. While the series was shown in back & white; I have it on good authority that the Songbird was actually painted blue………….. I am just saying.
Second, it is true that old Sky had a ‘niece’ her name was Penny. He also had a ‘nephew’ his name was Clipper. I do not judge; you know ‘don’t ask/ don’t tell’ & all that…………… I am just saying.
Now that we have corrected the misinformation; Saturday actually looks like a pretty good day. As of now the risk of rain during the day is fairly low. I am not so sure there will be too much sunshine but the day does look fairly good all things considered.
So I guess the event is on. A group is planning to meet at the Ranger Station in Hampshire. We plan on hitting the road by about by 10:30 or so. Looks like we may well have a dozen or so cars in Rockford!!
Hope to see y’all there.

Where is the Ranger Station in Hampshire? Is that Chris D. house? I thought Wolfe was the Lone Ranger? Of wait, I remember now, he is the Sheriff......

Do you have any maps?

I got this itch to wash my car. But was told tonight not to cause it may rain. Now if R. Shelby doesn't then I can still wash mine right??? Oh and discount tire said they can have my wheels sent out to be polished again. LOL! 2 weeks! Screw that! Simple green and a rag works fine!!!

You are asking me; where it is? That is probably a mistake -- I have no idea. I do not think it is quite at the end of the Earth.
That said, I am pretty sure if you do not watch your step you could fall off the edge ………. I am just saying.

Default Desert anyone????

To all those attending the Tilted Kilt Saturday, you are welcome to come to our house for home made dessert (Chocolate). Our home is about 10-15 minutes away from the TK. From our home there is easy access to I90 or business 20 for your trip home. It’s okay if everyone needs to go home directly after the lunch; desserts freeze easily, but we hope you can make it.

Be safe and have fun
