Greetings,

i'm fine with that, but if the Cobra Club guys are requesting it, I'd like to give them say in on the calendar if they'd like any 'hot' car to be in it, it would help us acheive the number of 12 cars much faster I think?

River

I might caution you that if you are looking at a WCCC calendar, that some responces on here are from out of the area----

It would be a piece of cake to get 12 WCCC members cars for a calendar and even an extra 2 or 3 so that you can do the typical 13th month.

Hi Jerry,

thanks for the heads up! but as I said that's up to the Cobra Club as to how they'd like to do a calendar. I'm just happy with 3 - 4 cars and that's that. Also the reason i'd like to meet up with some of you guys so we can discuss the logistics, who is to attend, dates, location, etc.

Thanks for the look out jerry

Have you made any decisions which cars to use from the car photos submitted?

River - we can most likely get you any color imaginable too, just let us know when - the sooner we get it on the calendar, the better. Not sure what color we can call Sid's car, is "dirt and bird droppings" a color?

Greetings all,

let me update you on this project.

1. The girls are excited to do this, everyone that has submitted their emails and pics i've created an album for our models to check out. they can't wait to pose.

2. As for the calendar, I beleive that is something you guys wanted to do. I don't mind taking photos for it, but I need to know that it's definitly going to happen. i can tell you, ladies LOVE to pose for calendars so you will DEFINITLY get enough (or more) ladies involved. But I won't be organizing your calendar I don't understand how things work on your end so i'm just there taking photos.

3. I would like to meet some of you guys (if possible) on Saturday May 14th? I will Email everyone a location but I would like to get interest on this. I will have at least two models accompany me so you can meet them. I would like to know (By this date) if we are definitly doing the calendar. If not, no biggie. Then i'll use the people who've sent their emails with their cars.

4. If there are any questions, let me know.

Finally, to answer Blas, i'll use any driver that submitted their email to me with their car pic. No worries on that. 'sides if we don't do the calendar at least you can take the photo i'll give you and make a poster out of that for your garage, if you wish

Thanks again gang, sorry i've been out of touch lately. Planning a wedding takes up sooo much time.

UPDATE!!

So I went to Zurich towers the other day and noticed there seems to be no gaurd and no maintenance?

I did notice some string and barrels that were set around the opening to the roof of the garage. They were moved aside to allow for entry but I do not know if they block the roof during the weekend?

I'll be back this weekend to see what the situation is for the roof access.

It appears that we will have no problem at all using this spot for the moment. I'll know more by this weekend.

Thanks all, and thanks for the wedding wishes. beleive me, I'm excited about it, but will be glad when it's over and i'm chillin' in FL with a cold Mojito and my wife!

You are getting permission to use the property for the photo shoot right?

Greetings Blas,

I have to, otherwise I don't feel comfortable doing it. ust becuase I can walk in there, doesn't necessarily mean they would be happy 'seeing' us there. I'll be going back this weekend and seeing if I can get a name of someone who can give me the permission I need. seeing that it's over 2 months away, I don't see a problem.

i'm hoping that by the 14th i'll have everything locked up and detail the situation to everyone who attends the meet and greet.

Great question Blas

Hey all, I've been out of the loop for a bit. I'd like to make it on the 14th if I can. I usually work the weekends, but I'm off. Time and place please!
Thanks, Sten

Greetings everyone.

For those that have emailed me a picture of their car i've sent you the address to where we'll be holding our meet & Greet. so far i've got 3 models who would definitly be interested in meeting with you gentlemen.

I want to discuss the possibility of a calendar and go over some locations that I have spotted.

Thanks to all who have already chimed in and have shown interest in this project. I really feel strongly that this can really be a fun time.

THanks again,
-River

Greetings everyone,

first I want to thank John, Lee/Mark, Fred, and Arsenio for coming out to TK and discussing the calendar. John was fantastic in teaching me more Cobra Lore and i'm real excited about seeing all these fantastic vehicles at this shoot.

Since there seems to be a wide interest in this calendar. It was decided that individuals could have their own calendar made. All you have to do is bring your cobra to the location the shoot will be at.

I'll have about 12 - 15 ladies that have given me their interest in this shoot. So what i'll do is have your car in several shots with each model. Once the shoot is over, i'll go and edit the images and prep them for printing.

I'll then send you the images and you can go to Vistaprint and print your calendar for as little as $16.00. There's even a poster option if you want to go that route but we can discuss that individually.

The location has changed to a Cobra Club member's warehouse. So the shoot is on June 18th Which is a saturday, For those that have already sent your pics via email, i'll send you the location's address.

If you still want to get in on having your own calendar please email me your contact information and any pictures of your vehicle that you have. I will confirm with the Cobra Club that you are a member and then we'll shoot over the address to you.

Thanks again everyone, I'm incredibly excited to do this shoot and work with each of you to produce some fantastic images.

Thanks,
-River

Greetings everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know that i'm back from my honeymoon and in FULL THROTTLE for this shoot.

To date we have about 18 ladies lined up to participate in this shoot. So I hope that you all will be washing, waxing, and detailing your beautiful machines prior to the 18th.

If you STILL want in but have been on the fence. Please email me pic(s) of your car and allow me to veify that you're a Cobra Club member.

All members who participate will receive all images that their car is in. And I can give you the link to where you can upload and create your calendar online with your favorite pictures from the shoot.

Thanks again everyone for making this happen. I'm so thrilled about this shoot.

-River
