Oct 2 - Oct Cobra-Fest
It's that time of year again, when the weather gets a little cooler, but its just perfect to get out and Snake up to cheese country. Working on putting together a ride to New Glarus, Wi. "Little Switzerland" and maybe find a spotted cow along the way. IF we're up to it maybe try to continue up to Spring Green along the Wisconsin River. This would be a great way to start the Fall Season enjoying our rides and meeting new friends along the way. Planned date is Saturday October 1st, starting around 9AM.
Let me know how many would be interested, by replying to this thread.

I'm in, as long as I won't have to pay $20 to let other people look at my car.

Fred-O: We are in assuming I get a tranny leak fixed. I need to take care of it or I am SOL for Monday the 3rd.

I think I am OK that date, the car is a little under the weather. If I don't get it fixed maybe I can drive Sten's car since it could use a little exercise while he works (?). I am hoping all I need is a tranny seal.

Sten, I was hoping you would help me lead the trail, since we'll be in your territory. If you have any suggestions for routes let me know, and of coarse we'll have a cow for ya, maybe two!

So far we have 10 WCCC members expressing interest for Saturday's event (10/1). Weather forcast (at this time) is Sunny, but cool, low 60's, so dress appropiately. Those of you willing to brave the elements need to meet at Starks Corners (route 20 & 72), departure time somewhere around 9:30am (or when everyone shows up ), make sure to fill up before we leave.
See ya on Saturday!

More people would show up if it was on Sunday. Most everthing this summer has been on Saturday - how has the turn out been?

Man I wish you guys were further south or I was further north lol. I would love to get together with some other cobra's and cruise sometime. Peoria is just too far downstate.

Bob, you might have a point, Sunday is going to be a little warmer as well, so maybe we'll switch it to Sunday, can I here from all who would prefer Sunday over Saturday?

Hey guys,
First off, I won't make it up from Dallas. (Sorry) But, I did a great route on my Harley this past Spring. Shoot up to Milwaukee. Snag the ferry to Muskegon, then loop up through the UP and around lake Mi back home. Gorgeous, great roads.. (Traverse City, Charlevoix, Manistique, Escanaba, etc...)

If it is Sunday, I will be a short-timer. Got to get back and pick up the trailer, change the tires and load the car for our Monday event.
