Unhappy Bob Malmen

Sid just called and informed me that Bob Malmen passed away today. He had been suffering with pancreatic cancer, but didn't win the battle. I hope to find out about his service and share. DAMN!!!!

Default Bob Malmen

I'm sorry to hear that Bob Malmen has passed. There's only so many of us "Cobra Characters" here in Chicagoland and one less is too many! Bob was a very nice man and loved his bright yellow Cobra! May he rest in peace in a reserved section of "Cobraland"!

When I looked through the WCCC holiday party photos and did not see him in any of the pictures I was very concerned.
I wrote an e-mail to Bob just a few days ago asking how he was doing, but when I didn't get a response within a few days, I had a bad feeling he was not doing well.
Bob was a great guy and I am very sorry we all have lost a good friend, at such an early age.
We love you, Brother, rest in peace!
Ralph

Sad news indeed. I had no idea he was ill. Sorry to hear another one of us - gone.

Rest in peace, Bob.

I too will miss Bob. He could always be counted on to show-up at an event with his bright yellow car and an equally bright smile.
I think that is the way I will mostly remember him - with a big happy grin on his face.
Bob was certainly a major reason why we participate in Cobra events.
He will be missed.
