Default Sunday brunch with the Beatles! April 22

Sunday looks like it's gonna be dry. Let's get together at the London Club in Crystal Lake, IL! I know a great Beatles Tribute band that will be playing from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. It won't be a big concert, but more acoustic style. The band is called Stockwood. Here's some of their recent work:

Stockwood 2012 DVD Trailer - Live at Durty Nellie's - YouTube

I've seen these guys ALOT and they get better and better everytime!

For more information on the venue, click on the link below.

Stockwood

If I get an idea of how many people are going to come, then I can work out preferred parking and seating.

Some of the members have said they would be interested in going, however, I would like to extend the invitation for everyone to come!

Let's make it a party party!

It's sort of a meal and show thing. I think you'll all be pleasently suprised.

I lived in Crystal Lake from 1988 to 1993. Alas, it would be quite a drive for me now!

I'll be in class again from Friday thru Sunday. I'm hoping to be done with classes and out driving more later in the driving season. Sounds like a rockin' good time!

Default Brekfast with the Beatles!

Man that was a blast!

The restaurant is very nice but not over the top.
The food was verrry good! (that says a lot comin' from this picky SOB)
Definitely worth the money and then the band was really good too!

If you guys decide to go back you can count us in!
Thanks for setting up a good one

RC & SUE

The band is playing on this Sunday and again on Mother's Day. It was a good time, and I hope we can get it going again!

The ride up early was sunny, but a bit chilly, although the cobra ran great! Brunch and the Band were also very good, brings back some good memories listening to the Beetles.
This is a great spot to have brunch and then plan on an afternoon ride, since the roads from Crystal Lake (west) only get better, I'm sure Sten can lead us on a nice ride, you know to help us digest, before we stop for ice cream somewere along the route!
Set the next date an we'll plan on being there.

Fred & Suzi
