Just got my cobra two weeks ago and the weather has been perfect for it...nice cool mornings warming up during the day. Wish it could stay like this year round but then it would not be new england. I am hopeful to get another 4 weeks out of it before the snow. Gloves, a hat to cover the ears, a warm jacket is all you need. The big block warms the seating area very well.
Since this will be the first winter of ownership let's have people chime in with their winter storage tips.

Hello Snake Oil,
Now you've gone and done it....All of us in California are now gouing to send obnoxious comments about how Cobra's are year round SUV's. We are ready for Winter !!!!!
Personally I would not do that , born in Pittsburgh, Married in NH, kids born in New Hampshire......Had Snowmobiles, not Cobras in those years. Moved to California 15 years ago and have had a Cobra in the garage since 93.
Let's see how many guys from Florida, California, Arizona etc. respond with weather Graffiti ???????
BTW didn't the Oakland, California Athletics just Beat those Dog Ass Yankees two in a row....Sun shine sun shine !!!!!
Best Regards,
Tony Ripepi

Are you kidding?
NEVER....give up to mother nature! See my post under best police stories. Until the salt hits the ground plenty of good weather. Look, in the Northeast people ski, therefore how hard is it to think of "winter Cobra running" like skiing? Just don't take the car out when its wet or there is salt on the ground?
Just an nutty guy from Philly getting ready to stick out a cold winter in Canada....time to make another son!

Brrrrrrr!
I am freezing...................The winter is upon us!
It must be down to 81 or 82 degrees today. I hope it doesn't get much lower than that.
I better go get fitted for some snow tires!
hello friends in NY, NJ, PA, CT, NH, VT,etc. How do you like us now?
Do you still think this is the right coast or the wrong coast?

storing the cobra
Well here in Indiana the weather gets cold but with my hardtop and heater we should be able to take the snake out at least 1 time per month.Buy the way...Turk i think you should chill out on the warm weather coast crap or some of us easterners might have to put on our carharts and make an ass whoopin road trip.besides if we all lived in california who would be left when your state falls in the ocean??
just a thought

I think we folk here is Chicago appreciate our summer a lot more then you in Cali. See we got to work for our summers...you just freeload and coast through!
One more thing....for the REAL winter folks. Have you ever been driving in your cobra and looked in your Rearview mirror to find a snow truck barreling down on you?

That is exactly what e had in CT today. 70's bright sun with a few clouds to break it up. The peak weekend for fall foiliage and witha cobra driving the winding roads taking it all in...doesn't get much better except that tomorrow it may even be nicer. But alas, I am sure some left coaster will chime in to remind us are days are numbered.
