Default 11 August - Club Picnic 2 New WCCC Directors Needed

OK Guys & Gals,

The WCCC Picnic is drawing near.
This year it is scheduled to be hosted by John & Sue Spina.

As of last communication with John he had to move it back one week from the usual first saturday in August to
the SECOND SATURDAY IN AUGUST

The directorship stands as of now;
Lee and Darryl will be taking over as senior directors, and they need to new directors as Fred and Arcenio will be stepping down.
So if your in the club and have not served as a director step up take a shot at it.
It really ain't that hard guys!

So, if you have ever thought to yourself...
What the heck are these guys doing?
Why haven't I heard from anybody?
Whens the next event?
What a crappy event my grandkid could have done better.

THEN NOW IS YOUR CHANCE!

OPPORTUNITY IS KNOCKING!
STEP UP, MAN UP! (OR WOMAN UP IN YOUR CASE RENLADY)

Yep, I have one more Poker run to put together and maybe even two before my term is up. Hopefully the new group of leaders will continue were we leave off, I'd love to be a part of the pack in lieu of leading it.

I'll be able to make the picnic, as I don't technically need the class scheduled for that weekend.

Well, I guess I will make it official here. I am tossing my hat into the ring. After I finish school in September I'll get one evening a week back, but I'll still be working at least three evenings a week, so I won't make the Thursday meetings. But with enough notice, I can make sure my schedule is open for weekend events and some weekday evenings.

Bump. Reminder to let us know if you're going to be there. It's a good crowd so far, hope for good weather. Odds are in our favor this year!

Hi everyone,

What a great picnic!! An ideal blend of first-class friends, hot cobras, good conversations and food. A special thank you to hosts John and Sue and my hearty best wishes to our new club directors.

John & Sue
Thank you for a GREAT time. The food was fantastic. Saw lots of people and cars that I had not seen in awhile. This was an event to remember.
