28 Sept Breakfast anyone? -9AM
Anyone interested in breakfast on Saturday morning. Perhaps the Egg Basket in Schaumburg. We will need to call ahead for seating if more the 4 people choose to attend. Yeah, I know that 4 people would be a BIG event these days... But lets give it one last try. Post if you are interested in attending. Lets say 9AM.
NOTE: Ralph - Don't call my house in the morning 8-)
Egg Basket
395 S Barrington Rd,
Schaumburg, IL 60193

I won't be able to make it. It's been 2 weeks since my inspection and still no plates in the mail. The SOS check cleared my bank account 7 days ago. Anyone know what the punishment is for driving with 1965 plates on the car and I don't have real plates with me? There are only so many good days left to drive this year.

You didn't get a temp plate?
It's probably just a fine and how much might depend on if and where you are pulled over and if you got a ticket. 1965 plates are allowed if you have antique plates. If you have all your paperwork and your insurance will cover you if something happens, I'd risk it. We aren't planning a long cruise (although it's supposed to be a grand day). So come on out to breakfast!

Sorry all for the no-show...water hose blew 6 miles from home. With some TLC was able to get back home but severe overheat was on the horizon.

Hope you got home ok.
Had a good turnout. We're planning to do it again next weekend - weather permitting. Watch here for details.

Didn't get my new exhaust finished in time to make breakfast. It's done now and you'll hear me coming from 3 miles away.
Raw metal, needs to be coated, got a couple of fairly close ceramic coating companies I'll be checking out Monday morning.
