Looks like Sunday is going to be good weather. Saturday looks pretty bad right now... Should we switch to Sunday?

Sat. is not looking good, so we must move to Sunday, Aug 31, for this trip.
We will meet near the Road Ranger at Randle Rd and Huntley Rd. I say near because I recommend each fill up and use facilities at the Road Ranger and then drive to the parking lot on the north side of Huntley Rd. This will be our meeting place since we should have better access to Randle Rd at the start of our trip.
We have the route on Google Maps and ran this route a few days ago. There is one section of rough road and a short construction area, but other than that the roads are good. It is about a 2.5 hour trip and we will make one pit stop in Richmond, Route 12 & IL 31; either a Marathon or Citgo station. Therefore, we should leave at 9 AM to arrive between 12 to 12:30. Please print out the turn by turn driving instructions below. I will have a few extra copies, but not many. I will ask someone to be the last car and someone else to be the middle car, but both of these should have a passenger to act as navigator if the group gets split up. Click on the link and then look for the "List all steps" button on left side of screen to see the turn by turn instructions and print them, please.
I will need an exact head count for the restaurant, since we could be over 20 and we could need a private room. Please reply with how many in your car. This place has changed owners and is now a little upscale Italian restaurant. The name of the restaurant is now called, Corleone's, and is located just after Big Foot Beach on the left. The link to the menu of the restaurant is

Site did not like the Google Map, please see the email or PM me.
Looking forward to a good trip and spending time with all of you.

Great Cruise!
Thanks for the laying out the route, Karlene and Lee, great job. The restaurant turned out to be a good pick, I didn't hear any complaints about the food, tasty and big portions.
It was really nice to meet up with old friends and a few new ones.
Wolfie took his usual ton of pictures as well as Cosmo's wife, Diana. Maybe they'll share some of them with the rest of you to get you in the mood to join the next cruise, I know Diana has already posted a few on the WCCC facebook site. https://www.facebook.com/groups/317067045001921/
