Spring Fling
Ok guys! It's a week away!
Who is going to the Spring Fling? At one point we had about 10 cars going but it looks like we're down to maybe 4 at this point.
Is a caravan an option for any of you? There is strength and security in numbers!

I'm going....I'll be driving the Integra out there. When is everyone planning on leaving? Friday? Thursday? A caravan would be great!

GS,
I'm planning on leaving Friday morning, weather permitting.
I took my car out for a 150 mile jaunt last night to test for road worthiness and to assess gas mileage at prolonged speed!
I figure I need to stop every two hours for a premium fill-up.

Dave ~ I bet you could get 2-1/2 hours between stops if you would just keep your foot out of her!!! Your scientific assessment of the gas mileage just sounds like a plot to get you out of the house for a few hours. But hey man, if they fall for it......more power to you I tried that same story once but my girlfriend said that she had better follow me in case I ran out of gas. I thought "great idea".........I shifted out of 3rd and haven't seen her in 3 months!!!!

Snake Oil-How come your not going?
380miles from EGV. 6.5hrs from my house using mapquest...Any of you staying in Dublin? Thats where I'm staying. I Guess I'll have to go to London to pick up my packet then head out to Quaker Steak & Lube...or will the packets be at QSL? I'm confused.
So we got 2 leaving friday morning. Dave when you did the milage test how fast where you going?
I'll be leaving as early as possible on friday...looking to be on the road at 7am. I would like to get there before 4pm Ohio time.

Not to worry!! The WCCC funds are safe in the bank! The way I go thru gasoline that small amount of cash wouldn't last very long!
We'll miss you Wednesday... and I'll see you on the road!

80 is kinda slow for a FIB, are you sure you can keep it in 3rd the whole way?! ;o) I wish I could take the whole weekend off, but I am still paying those pesky student loans! I plan on driving up friday evening, and staying until late sat night. My cell number is 414-628-3561, if you care to give me a buzz so I can find you at the fling, Scott

Man I got to stop checking cc.com every 30 sec! cscott67 I don't have a cell...I'm trying to get some lettering done on one of my clubcobra.com t-shirts...It will read...GOT SNAKE? Clever!
And I'm gonna have that sign on my car also. You think that one shirt will last that whole weekend?
Hmm...If I do 70mph=25mpg with 12 gallons... thats 1.5 tank fills=2 stops. Unless I see a cobra!
