RESCHEDULED---Club Car Show and Meeting - July 27th
WCCC Meeting/Car Show/Concour D'Elegance D' McDonald's
SAT JULY 27th --- 10:30 AM (or thereabouts)
at the McDonald's Number One Museum
400 N. Lee Street - Des Plaines, IL 60016
Hi all!
Please join us for the 1st Annual WCCC Concour D'Elegance D' McDonald's! Trophies will be awarded for various classes.
This event will be held at the ultra-cool McDonald's Museum. Web Site is http://www.mcdonalds.com/countries/u...e/info/museum/
Please try to support McDonald by buying something at their restaurant across the street, BUT save room because...
The event will end at about 2PM. After that, I urge everyone to go to the Choo Choo diner (1 block away) for a true 1950's dining experience. Web site http://www.funplacestogowithkids.com...s/ChooChoo.htm
Please try to attend with your Cobra!
Chuck C.

I am still debating. It is an hour drive for me without the construction mess, so probably a little more than that. My wife is on her way home. It is not nice down here at all. Let me know if anyone else is goin.

It turned out to be very nice at like 1PM. The museum is very, very nice for those of you that have not been there.
What about next Saturday, August 3rd for a reschedule of this event? Does that fit into everyone calendars?
I will need to check with McD's...

Hi all, Sorry that I am unable to join you at these events. I'd love to be there but working retail makes it very difficult.
Chuck, I have a question. What is your relationship to the Choo Choo Restaurant? I agree that its a great place to take kids. We've been there several times

The Choo Choo is great! I want to make sure that everyone knows about it and goes there instead of to the chain restaurants.
Its getting so that kids are suspicious of anything but McDonalds and Burger King... so, when they get older thats all they go to and the Choo Choo closes and is demolished so a Walgreen's can be built....
I don't want to see that. I'm thinking of changing the ad to promote HAMBURGER HEAVEN at York & North in Elmhurst, another great place....
