We are thinking of the following dates/times for our next 2 events. Please let me know your availability and comments!
Friday, Sept. 6th -- General Meeting and Gathering at the Rolling Meadows Cruise Site, Rolling Meadows. 7PM or so, near the group of Cobras.
This will be a general bull**** session, with perhaps some activities being planned.

Saturday, Sept. 14th -- First Annual WCCC Route 66 (and points beyond) Road Rally. This will be a ride down Old 66, perhaps to Dwight or so, with some stops. The return trip will follow different roads, likely a combination of Route 17, 23, 6, 52, etc. to get back to the Joliet/Bolingbrook area where everyone can go his own way home.
There will be great stops at diners and ice cream parlors, trophies, awards, and cash prizes!
Starting time is 10 AM. While we will be staying a group, complete Route maps and approximate timelines will be provided.

If you have an interest in a great track event, the North Woods Shelby Club has several spots open for their Sept. track event.

Friday is sold out. Saturday is an autocross format, with timed runs. Sunday is basically an open track day, with groups differentiated based on speed and experience.
I will try to make it up on Sunday (sans car as it will likely still be broken, but maybe not.) Hope to see you there.
