Default Next Meeting --- Rolling Meadows - Sept. 6th

Friday, Sept. 6th -- General Meeting and Gathering at the Rolling Meadows Cruise Site, Rolling Meadows. 7PM or so, near the group of Cobras.

We have a member of the Chicago Replicar Association coming to talk about some joint activities, etc.

Please try to bring your car! If you get there early, save some Cobra spots!

CDOG, you are telling others to please try to bring their car. What about you, you gonna have yours there? At least I have an excuse, if I tried driving mine on the street (which I am really itching to do), I would probably be put away for a very long time. No seats, no lights, open headers, no body., no plates, no registration, just pure raw horsepower and flames out of the carb!

BTW guys, I have ordered my body from B&B and Collin Stewart is making arrangements to deliver it to me. Might need a hand taking it out of the truck and setting it on my frame. I would provide obligatory dogs and burgers. You might be best BYOB cause my family does not drink often. Would love to stir up the neighborhood a little.

Tom

My motor is out now... motor guy is looking at it...
Should have it back on the road by Sept 10th or so, with more HP I reckon.

So, no I wont be bringing it. BUT I do have some Windy City Cobra Club business cards and flyers that I will have printed by then.

Hopefully, everyone will want to take these and give them to Cobra/Shelby people that they meet in their travels that arent in the club...

I have to get to Kinkos.

Thumbs up Always a good time at Rolling Meadows

Last couple of times I have been to Rolling Meadows, the place has been jammed with cars! For some reason, it seems more and more Corvette guys have been showing up and taking the primo spots (the ones by the short wall that runs by Kirchoff road). If a couple of you can get there around 5PM, try to block off a few slots. Trying to shoehorn 300-350 cars into that parking lot isn't easy! Beside, some of these Corvette guys may need a little (Cobra) attitude adjustment!
