E-Mail list, etc.
I have an email list of all of the Cobra enthusiasts that have e-mailed me.
It's 23 or 26 people long.
If you don't recognize me, drop me a line, I'll add you to the list.
When's the next get together?
Regards,
Bill

Paint
Snake Oil,
I am haveing him finish the body work and pait and stripe it. He sais that he will put three coats of epox primer, block it, one coat of automotive primer, block it, paint the base color, paint the stripe and then clear coat it. He said that I should put that clear plastic rock guard on the front of the rear wheel flairs. He also said that the paint he is using will be easy to fix when I get chips and scratchs.
Three different people recomended him to me and I pass his shop on my way to and from work. I will be able to check on things every day. I also have seen a lot of his work including a bunch of custom jobs. I think that for $2200, I can not go wrong. The place is called "BILL'S AUTO BODY & RESTORATION, LTD." 516 N. Milwaukee Ave. Wheeling. He is two blocks south of Lake Cook Rd. We will have to see how well he does.

Paint
Hi Guys,
Just talked to my paint guy and he said to pick up the body Tuesday July 10th. Can't wait. Sorry about not keeping up but I have been spending a lot of time working on the chassis. A lot of little things I want to get done before the body goes on. You know. Talk to you later.

Installed Painted Body
Wednesday night I had a little body install party. Things went great. I realy like this kit. Bill's Auto Body in Wheeling did a great job however he did say that he would charge $2500 for the next one because it took an extra day of labor. I still have some things to finish but I took her for a ride last night and it was wonderful!!! I have to button up the rad, install the roll bar and doors and the wheel wells. The roof will have to be reinstalled and the wind wings and visors and a few other things. It sound great, not too loud in the drivers seat because I have the cats on. On July 28th Wheeling is having a classic car show in the park on Dundee just West of Wolf road by the pool. It is being sponsored by the Chevy Dealer in town. My Roadster is not ready but I am going to be there with my Electra. Maybe I will see some of you. Thanks for all of the support.
