Hey guys! I don't have a SHELBY Cobra YET but I do have a Torch Red 03 Mustang Cobra convertible! I also drive a Silver 00 SVT Contour as my daily driver. I registered to this board because I plan on getting a Shelby Cobra later on in my life and I wanted to start learning about them now. I am from St. Charles, IL, a suburb of Chicago. I love cars and play baseball at the University of Evansville, IN (division 1 in the missouri valley conference "MVC"). I hope you all teach me a lot about the Cobra!

Eric- First of all-Welcome to ClubCobra, and to windycitycobras.com! There are several people in our local club, such as myself, who don't own a Cobra yet (I'm currently putting my daughter through college, w/ my son due to attend in the next two years !, so money isn't in abundance at this point.) We usually meet every month or so during the Spring/Summer months, w/ meetings at restaurants, or at car shows.

We met last Sat. at Hubcaps in Shiller Park (I wasn't able to go), but a Drag Race, and a few other activities are in the works during the year.

I'm currently researching '87-'93 Mustangs for a possible Donor car to work on/drive while my kids are in college, and then plan on using it to build a Cobra (FFR kit) w/ a Vortech or a Paxton supercharger to help the 302 along.
