Rolling Meadows Last (Friday) Night
I went by Rolling Meadows last night to see what was happening. There were about 20-25 cars there.
I was the only Ford. There were 3 late model Corvettes (C5s) out there with the owners polishin' em up (in the lot) like it was freakin Pebble Beach....My car was dirty and I was cold.
Actually, someone said this show might be moving a couple of blocks to a Dominicks lot.
Its good to see that people are getting their cars out! Even if it was all Chevys...

Cruie night
Went to the Mcdonalds on River Rd. Just souht of 72 Higgins
It is under the Rosemont water tower with the big rose painted on it.
There was only 3 cars out there last night but it was kinda cold.
The manager of that McD's is a gear head and lets people hang in the backlot on Friday nights
Even pipes in music when it gets a little warmer.
Hopefully soon!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rolling Meadows cruise has moved
I stopped by Rolling Meadows last friday and found out the entire cruise has moved one block east to the Dominics parking lot. It's a slightly smaller area, about two hundred spaces although it looks a little more spread out. It should be just as fun as the other location was.

Bob,
I stopped by on my way home from work and didn't have my car with me. Although it was early, there were about 20 to 30 cars there and I only stayed a little while. There was one Cobra however, a nice Titanium SPF with blue stripes. I believe the owner may be a WCCC member but I can't recall who. Len

If there's one thing they don't need at Rolling Meadows, its LESS space... I hope that they can resolve the situation.
I heard that the Sears Hardware was complaining and had it moved. I'm sure the guy who owns that McDonalds is not happy.

And the old lot was always jammed w/ cars-I bet it discourages a lot of people, and a lot of cars worth seeing-Rolling Meadows is NOT known for any expansive parking areas. IMO, they should have the cruise night at Woodfield-now your talking PLENTY of
space!!

One of these days I will take the 60 or 70 mile hike to the cruise night you talk about in Rolling Meadows. It sounds like a good time. I just like the idea of taking my "baby" on 294 with all of the crazy drivers. Anyway, I haven't been on this board in a while so I thought I would see whats up. Is there anywhere a little farther south you guys go?
