My wife just told me to ask if you could make them up in a Henley style with a couple buttons and no collar... That way I don't have to cut the neck to wear them... at least a V-neck. Pleeezzzzz.

casaleenie: you've got to cut down on the carbs! Are you spending too much time in the Flats? Switch to Miller Lite, my man! Only 3.2 carbs! ;-)
A Cleveland guy wanting a Chicago shirt. Don't wear it to an Indians game!
Anyway.........put me down for a couple shirts!

Snake Oil and Terry,,
I probably wasn't clear on the cutting of the t-shirts...
Can't stand anything touching my neck in the front.. I'll cut the front neck of a t-shirt just to keep it off my throat..
and I'm too damn old for the Flats.. It's becoming a dead issue down there anyway... Couple of the good restaurants have closed and it's turning into a punch palace all over...When I need to get into trouble I head for the Island of Lake Erie...
and Chicago (Lincoln Park) is my favorite place on the planet..
My wife and I go to Chicago just to shop.. Hell, most of our furniture comes from there...
I'm trying to talk my daugher and son-in-law into buying one of those four story row houses and I'll buy a floor from them..
That town is like a vacation. Hell, it is a vacation!!!!

Casaleenie: ........Islands of Lake Erie. Put-n-Bay!!!! Great place to go! I spend time there just to get OUT of Chicago (see......when you live here, you go out of your way to vacation in OTHER areas!!;-).
I'm from Ohio, so I spend a lot of days on the "Bass" Islands from time to time just to get out of the constant traffic and people of the Windy City. There are places in Michigan that do nicely as well.
Heck, I'll sell you MY place!!!
Sorry about the "fat" jokes..............no harm done I hope ;-)

Club T shirts
I was hoping to get some input from some of the
"officers of the club"?
COLORS
As far as colors (body of the shirt), White?,
(IMHO it would show the printing etc. better)
SIZES
I imagine sizes would be mostly 6 Large, & 6 Xl,
For the first "GO ROUND"?
LOGO / LAYOUT
Idea:
Back of T shirt:
get a picture of a cobra (car) stenciled on the back
with Windy City (on top) Cobra Club (underneath)?
Front of shirt over left chest :
Small pciture of cobra (snake)
with Windy City (top) and Cobra Club (bottom)
Possibly a name underneath?
I will talk to a couple of T shirt guys that make up team stuff
and see what I can come up with.
If you have any Ideas shoot them out there.

Sound good to me, anything is better then nothing.
I hope we are doing this to promote the club and make some extra money for the upcoming events.

Terry,,
Put in Bay,, The Roundhouse Bar... Their T-shirts have a picture of the bar and the words..."Innocent looking, isn't it". The single best bar in the world... The Elephant man could get lucky in that bar...
I'm over on Kelleys Island where it's a little more sedate.. Yea, right!. I retired about five years ago and took a job at THe Village Pump on Kelleys... A great place but the work almost killed me.. I'm just getting too old....
and no harm done with the "fat" jokes... Actually, I am fat...
and I know what you mean by the grass is always greener the next town over... You get to the islands next year you let me know.. When you're ready to come just e-mail me...
Later,
al

Al: Kelley's Island is great. I always head over to Bag the Moon Saloon. Is anything going on with the Winery? I've spent many a night at the Roundhouse. One of my favorite bars of all time! I'll send you an e-mail next summer when I come out. .....Did you take your Cobra home on the Ferry?? Any other Cobra's on the Islands? What a great place to have a Cobra. Put-n-Bay would be an awsome Cobra gathering place! It would be cool to see the Miller Ferry full of Cobra's!!
Snake Oil: Put me down for 2 shirts - probaly Large (unless they run small or will shrink.....then XL). White sounds good, and you're right about showing the colors better.
Ozona: Where do you live in Naperville? Send me a private e-mail if you want. We should hook up.

Terry, When you deliver my WCCC t-shirts...
Village Pump is right next door to the Bag and I live in the Condos behind the Bag..
No Cobras on the either island that I know of.. The 25MPH speed limit is one factor... Took mine over to Kelleys about a month ago and it was big hit... Sounds like a great idea to get the cars together for a trip to one of the islands.. They love to cater to those kinds of events...
I don't go to the Roundhouse anymore... I'm having flashbacks as to what happened the last time I was there and it's not pretty.
I swear I can only take that much fun in small doses... I've never seen any place like it... they must spill as much beer as they drink in that place.. I talked to the owner one day about how much beer they moved through that place -- 97 kegs on a Friday and Saturday during high season and 6000 bbq chicken halfs during the same period... not counting the mixed drinks and t-shirts they sell. They have a license to print money. And that's just the Roundhouse.. You take in the Beer Barrel and Frosty's and thirty other bars... Christ, it's like heaven on earth...
Kelleys Island softball team plays Put-in-Bay during the regular season.. Anyone who's not working takes the Jet Express or the Island Hopper over to the Bay and watches the game from a bar stool a mile from the actual event.. Usually half the island is missing in action until the next day when they wake up after finding a place to sleep and make it back to Kelleys for their shift...
Ahhh, life is good....
Terry, make sure you knock on the door WHEN YOU DELIVER MY T-SHIRTS.......

Hello Everybody,
I like the idea of a tee shirt. What do you think it should look like? Cdog had a nice logo on the top of the news letter. What would the cost be?

T shirts
Well I got a hold of the guy.
Some of you may remember him we met him at the Hub Caps meeting in March.
He's working on a price but as we all know the more the quantitiy the lower the price.
So here's the question; How much are you willing to pay?
(I stand to make nothing on this)
But if in fact he can get us some made I need to know.
Most Club type t shirts are about $15-$20.
Let's see what happens.................
ANY FEEDBACK IS WELCOME
