Invitation to da southside
The welcome mat to my garage (and home) is out! Would love to see any and all fellow Cobra enthusiasts come over for a few words of encouragement, pizza, beer, and any suggestions or hints with my build. How about April 17th?
P.S. I will be home from work the week of April 12th - 17th and intend to be in the garage every day, so if anyone wants to stop by during that time, just let me know.

Darryl,
Need to check with the boss- but, yea, sounds great. How far along is your build? Any pics you could post. (I know that is easier to say than to do - I still cannot figure out how to post a picture.)
Lets us know what we can bring. And let us know if you need any help with the build and we will come dressed to work.

The 17th sounds good...
If mother nature checks in with the date...
So who wants a visit of rolling thunder at their houses to scare their neighbors?
We'll need to setup a meeting point (1st house maybe), a time, and a route (If we have more than 1 house to visit)

Darryl,
The build is still inprocess - although it is in the final stages. It actually is beginning to look like a car! But, certainly - any help or suggestions that I can give - I'll be happy to help.
As for what I would drink it depends if Judy is with me - She becomes the Designated Driver & the answer is BEAR! Other wise the answer is diet coke, oh well.
Hope to see you on the 17th.

What's the parking situation out there at your house?
With the ball park so close to you, if 5 or 6 cars show up, where will they park?

If we are looking for a meeting place - how about making this the first 'Snake & Eggs' event of the season? I do not know the area or where people are coming from, but - something along an expressway or toll way should provided a good meeting place?

I am checking with my wife, but I might be opening my Garage up that weekend as well. I am a few blocks from Darryl. Figure I might as well save you the trip to the south side.

I believe there's a Hooters in Orland Park, not far from there.

HOOTERS! .......Now you're talkin'! I helped a buddy build his FFR a couple years ago with a donor Mustang. If you need some help, count me in. Love to meet more Cobra owners in the area (although I'm actually a 'burb guy). Got a buddy that lives by the ballpark though, and he's a good mechanic (doesn't own a Cobra, but I've been trying to get him to take the plunge). I could see if he's available as well. He knows more about my 427SO than I do.

There is definately a Hooters on 151st & LaGrange. There is a Ricobene's steak sandwich place on 159th street as well. Old fashioned interior. Unfortunately not their Pulaski location with the car collection. There are couple of good breakfast places as well.

You do realize that by "Hooter" they are talking about breasts, not testicles?!? HOMO

Something is very wrong with me - and it is scary.
I got more excited about the idea of visiting a resturant with a car collection than about going to a Hooters! - What the heck is that all about?
