Default If the Season has to end...

If the season has to end, you could not have picked a better way to end it. Great weather and a great turnout...
To my fellow club members who could not make it today, you missed a great example of what makes this club great...13 cars and 15+ members attending 2 car shows....(lost count of the chicken wings consumed)

The next event is the last of the 4 scheduled club meetings for 2004. Please make every effort to attend to help set the stage for 2005.

Blas, I couldn't agree with you more. If the season has to end, it sure was a fun day! However to borrow a line from a famous philosopher, "It is not over until we say it is over! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?" Don't put your cars away in storage. We still have good weather coming.

After the car show at Hooters had ended, a group of us took a ride out west. Chris lead the way along with Wolfgang, Mike, Rich & Sid and Laura & I. Chris had us flying down a bunch of country roads out in Huntley and Hampshire. These were some great roads to cruise on with nice rolling hills and tight turns to slide around. When it was finally over I got home around 5:00pm. With a little planning I think heading out towards Marengo, Harvard, etc ... could provide the Club with an excellent route for the poker run next year.

Hopefully see you guys next week!

Mark

You know, that famous philosopher and I have something in common - 'six perfectly good years of College just waisted'. Oh well, realize neither of us actually graduated.
So I agree, until it gets cold enough to have the snot freeze in your nose - heck, it's still Cobra weather. In fact this weekend looks great - can't wait to cruise.

Guys,

Have you forgotten your high school American History 101 class?
The Germans didn't bomb Pearl Harbor…it was the Italians!
