Default 4th and final 2004 meeting of the Windy City Cobra Club

Just a reminder…
The final 2004 meeting of the Windy City Cobra Club will be held Saturday, October 23, from 12-3pm, at Strat’s Drive-In, 231 E. North Avenue, in Villa Park.
This meeting is open to prospective members.
The agenda will include setting the club’s 2005 event schedule. Please bring any suggestions for new club events along with you, and remember to bring your 2005 calendar. The WCCC 2004 Christmas party (scheduled for January 22, 2005) plans will also be discussed, so if you have any suggestions as to a restaurant, please bring the information along.
I also have the family passes for the Volo Auto Museum for those that participated in the 2004 show.
We will also discuss:
- The continuation/elimination of the WCCC web site.
- WCCC Driving school event at Road America or Black Hawk farms.
- 2 Byron Drag strip events.
- 2005 Poker Run.
- DVSF 5
- Local car show participation.
- WCCC car show at Strat’s.
- WCCC Picnic.
- 2005 scheduled meeting dates.
- Volo Shelby car show.
- Brian Redman International Challenge @ Road America.
- A 3-day WCCC road trip.
- Any other suggestions/concerns from members concerning the club’s direction.
The club will be providing refreshments at this meeting, so please respond yes or no, by email to:
WindyCityCobraClub@Comcast.net
(and put “WCCC Meeting #4” in the subject line) if you will be attending, so arrangements can be made in advance for food.
We hope to see you all there.
The Club Directors.

Chris you are such an immature little baby. All you care about is lighting up and smoking your tires. I suppose you think that "dad" is going to buy you new ones in the spring huh! Well that ain't gonna happen because "dad" will be broke after buying himself new tires. And that is only because there is something wrong with the tires that came with my car. Yes thats right, for some reason those darn tires refuse to grip the pavement and insist on leaving these big nasty black marks everytime that I take off. So I have to assume that they put on reject tires to keep the cost of the car down. That's what Sid told me anyway.
So anyway I will attend the meeting to give my moral support and imput for the club. And If I light up and smoke my tires it will only be to clear out the mosquitoes as we are in the height of the malaria season and I would not want to see any of the general public get bitten and infected while they are gawking at the cars. {Also it would be bad for Stratts business if someone became infected} As always I will try do do my part to enhance the Cobra image.

I vote we invest in a 7k rev limiter for Wolf. Or we could just remove that darn thing...It just gets in the way!!! MSD should use Wolf's car for testing! This guy hit the limit in THIRD!!

We need more driving events so I can be a passenger more often and for longer trips. Never care about the little guy...

I'll bring some ideas to the event.
Bikini Car wash
Cobra meetings at Heavenly Bodies
Plasma screen TV in the Club Jet and Condo...
Support for the "SNCF" (Sid Needs a Cobra Fund"

Sid- How close are you to getting a Cobra??
Backdraft was your preference, correct?
I thought you were expecting to get one this Fall, or did I
hear you wrong??

Hope to make the meeting, but I have a siding job this
Sat. a.m., but if it rains I should be there.

Bob,
What do you mean -"IF IT RAINS"!! Bite your tongue.
Now get a salt shaker and throw it over your left shoulder.
Now, while holding a bulb of garlic, turn around three times in a couter clockwise direction.
Now go bury the garlic in the backyard of the neighbor to the south of your house.
That should fix the Karma
- I only hope you did not excite the Feng Shui Gods. (Usually they only get upset about bad color choices - like when someone paints a car Red that should be painted Blue - you guys know who you are).

Michael,
Red Envy???
What the heck is 'Red Envy'?
Is there such a concept - actually seems to me to be a bit of an oxymoron! Or maybe a perverse thought of some type.

Don Blassi,
With all due respect - It not a 'Red Gill'; it's a BLUE Gill.
It's not a 'Red Fish'; it's a BLUE Fish.
So if I must sleep below the waves let it be under the Ocean BLUE --- not the 'Ocean Red'

I think, while we're at the meeting, we should tie Richie to a chair and spray paint his car a more friendly color. Someone stop at K-Mart and pick up the spray cans of the right color before the meeting. He should ENVY his new color.
RED
P.S. It's Red Snapper not Blue Gill

Marty,
Where I come from 'Snapper' is a turtle.
Now, Marty, I don't think your car is that slow - I mean you should not refer to it as a turtle. Even though it maybe RED I still believe it is faster than that.
