2004 Holiday Party
All WCCC members should have received their invitation to our 2004 Holiday Party by personal email. Please send in your RSVP as soon as possible so we can reserve the proper size room for the event. Last year's location was a little tight and we want to be sure we have enough space to accommodate everyone.
Email WindyCityCobraClub@Comcast.net if you have not received an email as of today....

We have a gaurantee on the number of people for the room...November 30th gives us time to start calling people who do not respond...so if you haven't responded yet...our operators are standing by to receive your RSVP's. You can expect a call from someone soon........

Witer Party
Blas,
IMHO
I think we need to add the time and place on this web site.
To make it easier for members to look up.
Thanks
Arcenio

I gave my money to Rich at the last event, does that qualify for the RSVP?

Party
Sid,
Right now around 50 or so, final count will be in soon,
as soon as our Party fact finding committee comes back from the WCCC Condo in Aruba. Xmas Holiday you know.
Dear Mr. BS,
Yes I believe we have counted you already,
I know this is Chicago, but "WE" only count people once.
Unlike our political freinds currently in power.

Aruba
Blas,
I heard Marty was looking for ripe coconuts in Aruba.
Did he in fact find any?
I'm not sure how you check a coconut for ripeness?
Wolfie would probably know.

Well let me see now, how would you check the ripeness of coconuts? I know that when you check mellons you want to sneek up from behind and firmly>>>>>>>>>>>Oh never mind.
With coconuts I believe that you need to have two of them at a time. If they are the green type that have just fallen off of the tree you want to pick them up (one in each hand) gently shake them, gently now! If you here milk swishy around inside they are ready for consumption. If they are the hairy brown type like the ones you would see in the grocery stores around here you would first close your eyes and then pick them up in each hand, slowly bring them up to your nose and sniff them. When doing this be sure to really snuggle your nose between them. If you feel very brave you could touch your tounge to them. If they do not smell musty or taste salty they are ready to be clashed together until they break open at which time you could scrape out the nuget. That is how I saw them do it on "Survivor" if it is not the correct procedure I recommend we contact "HI Cobra" from Hawaii I'm sure he would know how. Afiter all, all they can do in Hawaii is just drive around in circles so they have lots of time to ponder on it.

Hard to think spring when it's 10 below zero! I thank my wife every (winter) day that she allowed me to have a heated garage. At least I can go out and tinker with the car during the winter months. Helps pass the time 'til spring.
Happy Holidays Chi-town!
