Ten Reasons Why You Can't Drive a Cobra In the Winter
1. You don’t look cool driving a cobra wearing a parka, scarf, and gloves.
2. Tough to find good looking girls when they’re wearing a parka, scarf and gloves.
3. Impossible to make out with good-looking girls in a cobra when you’re both wearing parkas, scarves and gloves.
4. Cobras tend to over-steer\wander during a snowstorm at speeds in excess of 120 mph.
5. Heavy snowfall is detrimental zero to sixty times and severely deters quarter mile ETs
6. Can’t outrun guys driving rice burners.
7. Winter driving necessitates cobra top installation and cobra’s just don’t look cool with their tops’ up
8. Down shift from fourth to third during a snowstorm and hang on tight!!
9. Tough to burn rubber when driving on ice.
10. Winter gas is a ***** to burn.
Hurry up Spring!!!

1: Scarf and gloves are for sissies, real male Cobra drivers wear Cowboy hats
2: Hell, at that point they find you
3: It's all in the technique
4: I agree
5: ditto
6: Not true at all, it's a matter of proper throttle and braking.
7: Convertible tops on Cobras because the driver might be too cold is a lame excuse for sissies
8: Only if you don't know how to drive in the snow
9: not true, you can actually melt the ice and snow all while burning up a set of nice radials
10: Yup, I agree with this 100%

Frank,
You have waaay too much time on your hands to think all that up. I must disagree with your first point - You always look cool in a Cobra not matter what.
I could not agree more with your salutation - Hurry up spring.
THINK GREEN!!!

One nice thing about owning a Cobra and living in Hawaii-
What is winter, snow, ice? Oh yeah, we do get rain.
On the other hand - where can you go, except round
and round!

Makes me feel like a sissy la-la with my ride at 7 AM, this morning (with temps in the 20's) to the dyno.

Hey David, did you find a nice parking lot so you could do endless donuts? That pic is a beaut! I have one in my gallery of me on a major highway in a rainstorm, but yours is priceless.

What a beautiful day for a drive in the Cobra. Off for lunch with the Dallas' group, then to AER for Toys for tots dropoff. Had to take off my jacket; got too warm driving home.....

(I know, I know, I'm not part of WCCC, but just couldn't resist. Great photo David!! Is it in your gallery? Guess I'll go look so I can add it to my "favorites". If not in your gallery, would you please add it?? Thanks!!!)

David,
You'd the man!! Great picture, but still can't wait for spring.
If you're going to DVSF V in June, the Heineken is on me.
