So sid, you are saying that in April you want to try to find a wife at Cracker Barrell? Not the best stomping grounds for attractive women. Now, as far as the other three establishments, didn't Arcenio suggest a late night get together with the cars for some adult beverages, some entertainment and possibly some photo opportunities?

She doesn't want to have anything to do with you dirty old men! LOL! I'll try to get her out this summer some time.

Cracker Barrel is perfect. They are like the girl next door to the girl next door! And they can cook!
We should have a meeting at a gentlemens club but keep it on the down low. And what ever happened to Erik and Arcy's idea of a bikini Car wash?

Fat chance on keeping it low key .......... like as if the wives don't read these posts to keep tabs on their men!

Besides, Sid would be busy hitting on the girls asking them if they were interested in getting married. Then I see him getting kicked out of the night club by Billy Bob, the bouncer and dragging us into it. Next thing you know the paddy wagon shows up to haul our asses to jail. The one phone call to get bailed out would really blow our cover. No thanks!

Hey!! I really like the idea of a bikini car wash,,,,, that way I have a reason to wear the nice thong my son got me for Christmas!!!
But we'll have to keep Marty in the dark about that because I wouldn't want any photos of my toosh showing up on the internet!

That really wasn't a thong. It was a peanut shell and fishing line.
Great photo op though.

Don't worry Wolfie, the internet has "some "standards on how low things get. Peanut shell? Are you sure you need that much???
Fishing line?? What a catch that would be, Wolf toosh!

Just a quick reminder…WCCC’s first 2005 Snake & Eggs is scheduled for 8:30AM tomorrow at Mr. V’s restaurant in Des Plaines. Look forward to seeing everyone for breakfast.

Sid, are you wearing your Elvis suit or just leading us in a chorus of Happy Birthday to Elvis?

Getting a cobra never is easy....LOL!

Dude's is going to be shut down next weekend for good. I got a message while at the breakfast but did not check it. Showed up at Dudes and they informed me they are closing shop. We are still working on getting my car completed one way or another....

Thats what I get! Anounce I'm getting a cobra and pow! LOL! It's another story for the books!

Wow!!

What a turn out for this morning’s Snake & Eggs. Fifteen die-hard cobra aficionados braved our Midwest snowy weather and met with fellow WCCC members over breakfast. The air was filled with talk of engine swaps, brake upgrades, drag radials, and future WCCC events. But the star of the day, IMHO, was Pilotdad13 who drove his cobra to breakfast. (Talk about die-hard dedication.) Pilotdad…you definitely are the man!!

Personally, spring can’t arrive soon enough for me, so hurry up spring.

Pilotdad you are my hero. I was so impressed and envious. I wish I knew where she hid my keys or how to hot wire my car so that I could take my car out on nice days like saturday was. I bet that you must have recieved 100 thumbs up that day. You are awesome!!

Sid,
This is Laura using Mark's screen name. I saw your post about Dude's...

"Dude's is going to be shut down next weekend for good. I got a message while at the breakfast but did not check it. Showed up at Dudes and they informed me they are closing shop. We are still working on getting my car completed one way or another...."

Does this mean you need someplace to build your car??? A cobra would look good in my garage..... It would be better than the VW the kid is trying to bring in to work on...

If you need your car finished , BJ that owns Byron Drag Strip and others sent me to a shop in Elbrun called Pro- Snow owned by Jay Johns . He has built a number of drag cars presently running at Byron. I would recommend him , and he knows FORDS . His prices are very fair . He holds a degree in engineering and design.

I'll be keeping the club informed on any help I may need as of right now it is in a secure location and I'll probably finish it at that location. I'll give ya a clue...a current cobra owners garage...its blue cobra owner! LOL! Right now my goal is to get it all ready with trans and all for install. Hopefully I this week I'll get the parts list together ands start working on the motor soon. Stay tuned!

Sid

Hey all,
My computer has been down so I am just catching-up on all the news. First, I would like say; what a great Snake & eggs event, Badman - you really know how to call them.

Then, I would like to say; Laura, you the man. Light-em-up.

Fionally, Sid, if he has a blue car he can not be all bad. Call me.

Rich
