Keith,
A word of caution to you DO NOT LET 'SID' DRIVE YOUR NEW COBRA!!!! When I first got my Cobra, back in September I asked Sid to teach me the correct way to drive it also. Oh my God!!!!! It was like hamburger meat with extra bones in it being ground up with every gear change!! He bounced the 6,000 rpm rev limiter with every gear change!!! I thought that I smelled burning rubber with every gear change, but it was the clutch!!! He squealed the tires every time he applied the brakes!! He stalled the car at every red light! I was soooooo embarassed!!
Oh wait a minnute, did I say Sid was driving? It may have been me, I really can't remember?
Anyway Keith, us Cobra guys need to stick together and "KEEP SID AS OUR OFFICIAL COBRA PASSANGER" or he may not feel the need to finish his own car!!
P.S. you really are going to love cruising in a cluster %$#& of Cobras.

Keith, another blue one, I love it. Those red cars don't have a chance. Do you have any pictures of your car that you can put in your gallery?
I vote no passenger Sid allowed. Only driver Sid in 2005 and beyond.
Congrats Sid. Be sure to keep that hp in the 205-225 range like you promised.

LOL!!! Funny guy...found out that my pistons are 9 to 1 vs 8.5 to 1. So if we follow what their website says I'll be near 475hp with the vic jr. now let see...Nitto Drag Radials and 475hp...So when are the Byron Drag days going to be? Erik maybe knocked further down the list! I better shut up, I'll be jinxing the cobra.
Yeah Mr. Siddalingdingdong we kinda took a wrong turn down by the river....

My sister-in-law wanted to borrow my car "cause it's sooo cute".
Joking about letting her, I said I didn't think she even knew how to drive a manual transmission. She thought she would learn on my Cobra. Yea! Like that is going to happen.
My wife who I love an awful lot knows that that's a favor that most people never get fulfilled. Hell!!!!!!! I had to buy one to drive one for the first time, and I'm told I'm a pretty nice guy. A ride as a passenger; no problem! Slammin gears? Your talking a very, very good friend. Like the kind that picks up your bar tab night after night and never complains. How many friends do you know like that?
But hey, you can drive my Cherokee if it thrills ya!

Hey Sid,
Didn't you grind some gears in my car too? I think it was at the Fling. Oh wait, I forgot. I showed you that red light thingy like on Men In Black. You know, the one that erases your memory. I remember you wet your pants with the whole mind erasure trick. Oh crap, now you know about it again.
Hey Sid. Look over here.

Good one Chris, now the cats out of the bag.
Hey after Sid has his car finished and has driven it once lets sap him with the light then and he'll go back to believing that he is still just the official "Cobra" passanger.

Sid,
I hope to pick up my cobra next weekend from the body shop in Milwaukee, your welcome to come along and you can ride back in the drivers seat and make cool engine sounds. Did I mention that it will be on an open trailer! Oh and the windshields missing! Maybe not a good idea, however we could run it in the garage when we get back and sniff some of the fumes from the racing fuel. That should get us reved up.
Cobra is in the paint booth this weekend getting finished. I decided to paint it red to neutralize the effect of Keith's blue car on the club.

Hey Ron I have free time next week if you want me to go along with you guys I could pull the trailer back for you and you could sit in the Cobra along with Sid. With both of you guys making the varrrrrroooooommmm sound it will be twice as loud and sound like duel exhaust! I know that you must be really itching to sit in your car as bad as Sid is!
Just let me know so I can keep my scheduel open. And give me a few days to re-apply for my drivers license.

OK...
I've added April 16th to the WCCC Club Calendar....
"The 100 Day Snake&Eggs Event" or
(More than you ever wanted to know about the South Side of Chicago Road Event)
Someone spell out the plan and who's running it?
I would like to get on the WCCC 2005 Event schedule...
Geez...
What's next...
The WCCC's first annual "Bratwerst & Cheese Curds Northern Road Race"....
Or how about...
The WCCC's "Beef Jerky and Baked Beans Westerly Poker Run"
Or the "WCCC - Our Boats won't Float" smelt fishing contest to the East....
Maybe the "Lederhosen on parade in Elgin cookout"

Hey...
Who is this "Sizzler" and why have we not offered him a club membership at the reduced new membership rate of $25?
Sounds like Sid may need a seat again this summer....so we need another new member to get a free WCCC 'Syncro inspection" when Sid is "rowing the gear box" on "Sizzlers" car......

OK Gentlemen...
Who is/are the leaders of this South-Side Club event?
And what is the game plan?
So's I kin update da Club Event Schedule...(Which hopefully everyone got via email last week ?????????)
What's the final event date and is there an alternate date if the weather is against us? (You all remember - We have quite a few new cars and newly finished cars - And Mother nature can be a cruel mistress for the new car guys...)
Curious minds want to know.......
