Just got my receipt!
We could do t-shirts...any ideas?
Club logo on the front and something on the back.
"I got my Cobra from Africa also..no bull!" (BDR & Superformance)
check out this website where Shelby has been doing a little replica work himself. http://www.carrollshelby.com/tuli.htm
or something positive "Thanks for the inspiration Carroll" with a Cobra picture underneath
or a picture of a Cobra snake poised to strike a mouse with a caption above "Proving it is possible to build a better mouse trap"
Any predictions on how he will act?

I just got my receipt in the mail also. Jeffko, is your car on the road now? Have you had your first piloting session?

Hey Chris, Still working on the engine. The AFR 205s should be here this Friday. Next move is heads, intake, headers and gaskets to machine shop for port matching. Like the monkey said when he got his tail cut off...It won't be long now!
Hey Sid, I saw your car on the BDR website. Looks great! What's the projected delivery date? Do you need a trans?
By the way guys. AD Performance is a great place for parts. Brian is knowledgeable and great to work with. The prices are, for the AFR heads at least, the best I could find. And if you are lucky he will be out of stock on what you want and give you a $100 discount plus free shipping towards the upgraded model.

Don't need a trans. Got one already. I shot Brian an email about bolts and flywheels. Checked out his site and he doesn't have anything about clutches. We are getting closer! Wow two BDR's ready for the spring! I think my car will be on the boat some time this week. 6wks on the water. So I estimate the 18 or 25th of march it should be in FL. My goal is to get it here on or before April 8th.

looks like I'm picking up the cobra (SPF #2012 blue with white stripes) tomorrow! So, I guess I was thinking about driving out to Volo and meeting everyone else and checking out all of the cars. I just called Volo auto museum to get the skinny on the event.
See you guys there.
Anything I should know beforehand??

Noel,
Congratulations!
Read the Club Cobra / WCCC Forum thread titled:
"S&E 8? - Saturday 5/28 Shelby Show" at:
http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/foru...?s=&forumid=53
And join us caravaning from downtown to Snake and Eggs #8 before the event and then on to Volo.
If you're not already registered, perhaps you can still enter the event and park with the club. Call Volo. Tell them you want to register. And tell them that you're with WCCC.
Good luck with the new car and see you Saturday!

Any discount on admission fee's to the museum for this event? Being a proud member of the WCCC I want to use some clout.
Rick.
