Power Tour Revisited
I am going to be submitting my registration for the Power Tour at the end of this week. If we have 5 or more registrants, we can get $5 off of the $55 registration fee. My plan is to go to Milwaukee the night before they depart from Milwaukee. I think there is a Hampton in Milwaukee. I plan on going at least to Indy weather permitting.
I do not have a top, so if the weather is ugly, I may alter my plans and spend an extra day wherever we may be at the time to let the weather pass and make a decision to double up the legs or just head home.
I think Arcenio indicated that he was in.

The power tour
Yep Tom, that be affirimative.
I am really looking forward to it.
Marty wants to start a committe,
in order to form this committee,
we need to take a poll, and then a vote on:
Who wants to be ON the committe
TO take a poll, and then a vote.
So, once the original poll is taken, and then the original vote is in,
Only when that takes place, then and only then,
we can find answers to these three burning questions...
WHO
WHO'S GOING??? -OR- to put it another way,
Which of our members trust their car farther
than Wisconsin border?
WHERE..
Where do we meet?
Assuming the car makes it that far.
What time do we leave???
Time to speak up WCCC...Anybody out there???

I deal with politics, commitees, mission statements, etc way to much at work. I think I will show up, spin my tires and have some fun in the process.

Power Tour Agenda
So Tom,
What you are saying is go with program Cobra 1.0?
Simple easy to run program a no brainer.
Show up, have fun, cruise around , go home afterward.
I like it

I'm interested. Not sure if I can make it yet. Arcenio, how far are you planning on going? Tom, when you say: "at least Indy" How much farther might you go if the weather is great?? (Just trying to figure how much time I might need etc. - I'd do the whole thing if I could but that's not in the cards this time 'round.)

OK, sounds like we have a lot of takers for Milwakee, Springfield and Indianapolis. I myself would love to do the whole thing, but that is a lot of driving down, and a LONG trip back.

Tom and All,
I hope you have a great time on the Power Tour. Someday I'd like to do one of these. It seems like a perfect opportunity to test a Cobra's muscle against some of the best 'Rods in the world, for miles and miles.
With the new camera-equipped and web-friendly phones, maybe you can keep the rest of us up to date on your hi-jinx?
Paul

Da Power Tour
Well Tom, see what you started?
Yep... looks like a run from the "Cheese State"
to a stop at our state capital...and
on to the Hoosier state sounds right .
Three days, June 4, 5, & 6th? Is that right?
Say what is a "Hoosier" anyway?
Rich:
Your on the committee anyway didn't Marty tell you?
You are in charge of leading the pack and having and holding the maps and possibly beer coolers.
You know sleeping in the cobra may prove a
little hard on some folks.Like Frank and Blas.
The other problem is if Wolf comes along,
will they let him in the motel?

Arcenio, Isn't the "H" silent. Therefore it is pronounced "Looser"
I believe the Illini basketball team plays Indiana this Friday. Indiana will be a Looser when it is all over.
Can you imagine sleeping in your cobra with the "Sid" seat occupied. Way too scary!

HEY HOMIE DON'T PLAY THAT!
The only person that would be sleepin' on that side is Mrs. Salinas
or Angelina Jolie but I haven't run into her lately.
Tell ya what, I don't know 'bout y'all country boys... I suspect y'all
spendin' toooo much idle time collectin' the hay or somethin?
You may need to spend a weekend in Algonquin.
That'll set you straight!

Dear Cobra pals;
As much as I love to cruise and hang with you all I don't know if I could do a three day trip. Mainly I don't want to miss the independance day fire works on the fourth or my annual sinco demia day! I also wouldn't have enough money for gas and a motel so I guess my wife and I would have to sleep in the car again. I know that she is not thrilled about that. I would probably be able to go to Milwaukee drink a Becks or Corona, the beers that made Germany famous, take three hours to sober back up and head back home to chicago before dark.
But then that is so far off that maybe I'll change my mind and leave my wife at home and just have Sid ride with me. Then the three day trip would be bearable cause I know how Sid likes to cuddle in the passenger seat.

Wolfie,
What are you saying? Cuddling with Sid ..... you have breathed in way too much exhaust fumes from the cobra this past year.
You were doing fine with "the beers that made Germany famous" But this cuddling idea makes me think that you have lost your mind.
No, I don't think you lost your mind,...... I am convinced you have lost it.

Finders keepers?
In case any body finds it (his mind)
please don't give it back to him.
He's already to "Algonquinized " the way it is.
He might become dangerous with a mind.
