Default Car tags and taxes???

How about taxes when you go to tag the car? I can only imagine what it takes to get it tagged also. Who's got the poop?

Jeff,
When I when to get my license plate the only thing they were really concerned about was me paying my sales tax. If it is not done timely they what interest and penalties.
I believe there is a provision that allows you to register the car; then pay your sales tax but not get a license plate. It's for cars that are not on the street etc. I found it easier to just get the license plate and be done with it.

So speaking of being on the street what is the estimate for your car? When can you take it crusing?

Rich

Hey Rich,

I am trying to make the April 16th Snake and Eggs in Fargo. Nice long trip to break the engine in on, but isn't it kinda early to be going that far north. Sid told me to meet him in Minneapolis, but I am not sure he has even bought a car. I asked Bill if he had sold a car to a guy named Sid. He wasn't sure, but he did get a call from a guy with that name asking how much it would be to get a Cobra with the steering wheel on the "passenger" side.

The heads, intake, gaskets and headers are in the machine shop for port matching and polish which puts them in my hands mid next week. Still need a trans and clutch. It's amazing where all the money goes. Who's the knothead that said you could build one of these for 30k anyway? Anyway, with less than 2 months it's going to be close.

Jeff

Hey Jeff,

Summits new search engine is great! Heck of a lot better than before. Is that parts list with part numbers helping? Whatever I buy I put on there. BTW BG has fuel lines kits for the Demon but I think I'm going to go with Morrosso. BG stuff is expensive!

Talked to Brian Adams at adperformance. (I was hoping he was the singer and could get an autograph!) Going to go with the Spec Stage 3 clutch but have no clue about the "extended" clutch fork. What is that? Oh and I forgot to ask you where did you get the bolts for the waterpump? My block is a 94 out of a truck. Yours is a 93 right?

Go to currency exchange and act dumb. Get plates and leave.
Thats my plan!

Summit is a great supplier...they price match, have about everything you could want, recieve in 3 days, free shipping even though there is a small handling charge, etc..

I know what you mean about BG prices, but be careful with the fuel supply lines at the carb. If i'm not mistaken it is proprietary to BG.

The parts list is great, thanks. I am working with it now as a matter of fact.

I will use the spec stage 3 also. I think the extended fork has everything to do with the hydraulic setup.

I bought a ARP 12 point bolt kit. Because of the variety of setups you will have to measure for the bolts you really need and then let them know. I worked all this out with Al Nichols at ARP 800-826-3045.

My block is also a '94' truck engine.

Don't know if BDR would be any different than my FFR but peruse this wbsite from SOS. I did the one using USRA inspection titled as 1965, no emissions etc.
