Cobra Club info?
Hello Everyone!!
I just bought a used 2000 B&B Cobra and didn't even know that there were so many Cobra's in the Chi-Town area.
When and where is the next club meeting? How do I become a member?
I WANT IN!!
Thanks,
Ever

Windy City Cobra Club
Ever, (and any other interested parties)
The next meeting of the Windy City Cobra Club will be held on April 9, 2005 at the Chicago Indool Racing, 301 Hastings Drive in Buffalo Grove Il. 60089. ( www.chicagoindoorracing.com/directions.asp) The meeting will begin at the CIR facility at 1:00pm sharp. Expect the meeting to last about an hour as we will discuss the clubs 2005 event calendar and decide which DVSF venue we want to visit this summer, among other topics of interest to all members. Afterward, there will be a racing safety session with drivers and CIR followed by a ........."spiritated" racing session at CIR. You are welcome to join us for both events. Send an email to WindyCityCobraClub@Comcast.net for information on joining the club and the costs for the April 9th's racing event.
We look forward to meeting you then...
The Club Directors.
Oh..and by the way....what COLOR is your car?

Red of Course.....
The car is Red with white stripes. I imagine that there are quite a few that are red with white stripes....Probably wont stand out in a crowd of Cobra's, that is why I have my '23 T-bucket as well....don't see many of those around Chicago either....
I hopefully can make the meeting on April 9th. I would love to see other cars and what people have done with them.

Your Zip is 60647?
Isn't that like Wrigleyville? I am at Halsted & Armitage. Send me an e-mail and let me know where you are located.

By the way - your car is beautiful. Am I reading it right-- 514 cubic inches? WOW

Hey Ever nice to meet you!
I hope that your gonna be at the April 9th meeting, you know the one where we all put our cobra keys in a hat and then take turns pulling a set out and we get to drive the snot out of each others cars!!! Yea that one, I sure hope that I get your keys, cause I have never been aloud to drive a big block! If you pull my set of keys you will surly be disappointed.
P.S. your car is beatuful.

LOL.....
I doubt I would be disappointed....truthfully, the car has too much power (Is that possible?). I thought my '23 model T with a BBC454, dual holleys and a tunnel ram was fast, but the Cobra puts it to shame. I couldn't get any traction in the Cobra.
That being said....Sorry, you can't drive my Cobra....Not that I wouldn't want you driving it, my insurance only covers me driving the car....lol
I hope to see you at the meeting on April 9th. Pray for no rain!!

I use to get that whole my insurance won't cover you driving the car trick too when I was 16. It felt good to be able to use it on my Dad when I got my Cobra. HAHAHA
