New Kirkham:4/3 Snake and Eggs
Hey guys,
Sunday 3rd it should be 64 and sunny with some clouds. Talked to Mark P. and we desided a quick S&E at Omega at Route 12(Rand Rd.) and Route 22 at 8:30am. Then head out to his place to check out his...SECOND COBRA! Punk! LOL!
I have made a reservation and they will hold parking for us. I estimated 5-10 cobras.
Omega Restaurant
449 South Rand Road.

A couple of problems for me Sid!
I don't know if I could get up early enough to make it out there by 8:30.
Maybe if you give me a wakeup call!
How far away is it from Elgin? My wife already put me on a mileage budget,,,,,times are hard! I already had to fill the gas tank 3 times this season!
Can I follow you and your Cobraaaaaa oh!!!! sorry!!!!
Would you buy me breakfast?
Will you let me "light em up"!!!! on the way there?
Oh heck,, if Chris goes I'll go. What a looser I am.
Your "Cobra pal"

Wolfie,
Don't forget to go to bed earlier Saturday night. This weekend day light savings time starts. We have to "spring forward" and add an hour to the clock. I don't want to hear about you being an hour late! "Light 'em up Laura" will be there to way the checkered flag, so don't worry about bringing the Mrs. along!

Guys,
You all know I am geographically challenged! Where the heck is 22 and 12. Is that in one of the Suburbs in the great abyss beyond? How does one get there?
I mean, I live in the city; the 12 I know is 12th Street; that’s Roosevelt Road. And 22nd is Cermak. Now Roosevelt and Cermak run parallel to each other – they never cross– so where are y’all meeting?
I get it, this must be some kind of puzzle or something. I can figure this out.
Let’s see – I need to think like a ………….
Okay so, 22 is Half Day, right? And 12 is like Rand Road, right?
So, I get out my Rand McNally Map; cut-off the McNally Half and drive down the road a while – right. Okay the problem is it will be day lights saving time. That was invented by Ben Franklin, right. So I need to wear my glasses and score with a bunch of French woman. Now the only way to do that would be to drink lots of Beer. The only one I know with enough beer to make me look good lives in Hawthorn Woods. Now I can tell I am getting close. So the meeting must be near Hawthorn Woods.
Okay, there was a clue about ‘Light Them Up’. What does that mean? Well the only thing I can figure, it must be another reference to day light savings time. So day light savings means it is light ‘longer’. The key word is ‘longer’, so I would need to drive on a little longer. That would put me in Lake Zurich right. SO THAT’S IT?
But Lake Zurich is in Switzerland ? Well if my Cobra floats- I will be there.

FYI:
I talked to Judy (Rich M. Wife.) The rumors are true. He was dropped as a child....down a flight of stairs...and his head hit every step on the way down!!! See you guys there! WOLF If you are going we could meet you at your place and take off from there. BTW will I have to drive my rice rocket? Come on guys! One more time for old time sake! (and also for the S&E 100days. Just one more!)
Chris I'll hit Mark over the head with a pipe and you can grab the tires off the kirkham...sound good?

Rich,
It sounds like you used your deductive reasoning power to figure how to get to Lake Zurich. Truly a beautiful mind hard at work
The Omega restaurant is the same place the WCCC had a snake & eggs at last summer prior to us all driving up to the Volo Shelby Car Show. It is located on the nowthwest corner of route 12 and 22.
Hope to see you there! The weather forecast looks to be excellent for spring time in Chicago.
Mark

Guys,
Okay, so I admitted to being born and raised on ‘da sous si’. I even admitted it was very far sous - y’all. And, I do admit there are - shall we say ‘not too many branches on the old family tree’ – if you catch my drift.
However, any rumor that claims Judy knew me, or any member of my family, when I was a child is totally false and with merit.
Just want to set the record straight. Heck, I was dating my cousin until she turned middle aged – that was the same time I met Judy. As I recall my cousin was almost thirteen when Judy and I starting dating.
Now, as for the S&E, since it has been confirmed that we are meeting in Zurich, Switzerland: Who was the last one to use the Club jet and where did you park it?

Rich, I'll be picking up Marty at his house at 8AM, he's taking up were Sid left off. If its any easier you can meet us at Martys and caravan to Switzerland, I think I now a short cut so we wont need a boat or a plane. Ps, Marty will have the coffee on.

Fred,
That's great & I truly appreciate the offer - but I would need to figure out where Marty lives. We can only guess where that would lead!
