10 days and counting (to the 100 day S&E)
Hey Guys,
That’s right the long awaited 100day Snakes & Eggs event is only 10 days away!!
Remember this was set as a date set waaay last winter to get the cars out and put a few miles on them. So now we need the updated head count. Weather permitting, who all expects to make the drive?
As y’all will recall, we are meeting at the Cracker Barrel in Matteson, Illinois. We will follow that with a trip to Gess Motorsports just to check things out. We do need an estimate of how many want to burn out that bad gas that has sat in your tanks all winter.

Rich,
I'll be there and, weather premitting, plan to drive my car.

Wolfie,
Not a bad idea, Let's discuss a meeting place during tomorrow's CIR meeting.

Anybody need a passenger? Or a back up car to make sure no parts fall off your cobras?

I'll be there. Lets meet at Franks and do burnouts in his driveway. Then we can meet up with the rest of the group at the Hinsdale oasis at 7:45 or so.
What's up with that Sid? Didn't your car get here yet? HAHAHAHA
Just kidding.

Hey Chris that's a good idea stopping by Frank's house to pick him up, burn a little rubber in his driveway and then the three of us should stop by Blas's and get him expelled from his neighbor hood. He lives in that neat little culdesac. I bet that you , Frank and I could really do some neat burnouts or maybe even try a few doughnuts!!! So Blas don't leave with out us. Oh heck I almost forgot about R. Shelby, he should join us too I think that he knows how to do doughnuts, he can teach us. Then there would be 5 of us leaving Blas's place. Oh!!!! what about cdog? my racing buddy, maybe he could join us too. The more the merrier right Blas!
come on Saturday!!!
Hey Sid, is Rich picking you up from your place? If so thats one more for our mini trek to Blas's.

Rich S. is not going to make it since he has reserves this weekend. I check weather.com and it shows thunderstorms for Saturday.

Is there a real meeting point before we go down to the S&E?

I have an important addition to Saturday's Snake & Eggs agenda.
As y’all are aware, after breakfast, we will be driving over to Gess Motorsports in Crete, Illinois.
At that point, we will be about a 30 minute drive from Mroz Complete Auto. This is the company that has offered a special group rate to WCCC members that may want to have their cars Dyno-tuned. The shop is not normally open on Saturday. However, Dan, the owner - is a Cobra driver. He will be in his shop preparing his car for a trip he is planning with his Cobra Club. He has agreed to open doors to any of us that make the drive over. This is a wonderful opportunity to get your questions answered about Dyno-tuning.
Both of these companies were selected since they could be a valuable resource if you ever need work done on your car.

I am hoping to go down to Gess Motorsports on Saturday April 16th to check out the progress on my car and meet with the club. Karl and Kurt are handling the body and paint work on my FFR.
??What time is the club planning on being at Gess Motorsports??
Thanks, Rick.

Rick,
It will be after breakfast around 10:30 by the time we get there. But, hey, join us for breakfast.
To the 'west siders' that are planning on tearing up Blas's driveway. Where do y'all really plan on meeting; about what time?
Are there any empty seats available?

Hey Western suburban cobra owners,
I checked Mapquest.com for driving directions from my house for Saturday’s Snake & Eggs and it’s about an hour’s drive via 294. How about meeting at my place at 7:15 AM and we can bogie over and pick up Blass, Fred and Marty in transit?
What does everyone think?
PS: I have a driveway that’s perfect for burnouts and pretty cool neighbors.
Frank

I'll be there Frank. Should we meet in the Menards parking lot so we don't wake up your neighbors? Let me know, and we will be there. What would be a good point to pick up Fred, Blas, Rich, etc. ? Maybe an exit on Elgin/Ohare.
Lets Ride..........

Chris,
There are two Menards close to my place: One on Higgins, RT 72, East of Barrington Road. (This is the site of the Monday night car show.) The second is on Irving Park Road, RT 19, 3/4 mile East of Barrington Road. I can met you at either place. Just pick the Menards, the time and I'll be there.
We can meet Blas, Fred and Marty any place in transit; but I haven't heard from them Perhaps we should let them decide on where and time we can meet.
Frank

Hi everyone,
My vote is for meeting at Blas’s house and leaving around 7:30AM.
Blas, since you’re providing your house, coffee and the potential neighborhood wrath, let me get the doughnuts. I trust everyone likes chocolate.
