Its official - Moving North
Guys,
wanted to let everyone know that I will be relocating to Minneapolis the first of May. We have sold our home in Plainfield and have purchased a new home in Andover, which is just north of Minneapolis. I will very much miss the club and all of you great guys that make it special. It has been a good time when ever we had an event and I looked forward to each of them.
I will be back in town over the Memorial day weekend and plan to make the Volo event before I load up the car and head north. I do plan to continue to be part of the Windy city forum and keep an eye on all of you ( especially Wolfie )
Thanks for the great times.

Ron,
It was great hanging out with you at all the events. You turned out a fantastic cobra! Maybe a roadtrip to MN can be added to the events list....Take care and see you at VOLO!
Sid

Ron and Sue,
Very sorry to hear of your leaving the Chicago area. I think you will always hold the record for the fastest build of a Cobra in WCCC history. I hope to see you before you leave, keep in touch...Blas
p.s. talk to Rich and Marty about those seat heaters before you leave....remember "Summer" up there is 18 days long....

Minnesota’s gain is our loss. I am sincere when I say that.
I very much enjoyed our short time together – and your car is beautiful. It really turned out to be a work of art and you deserve to be very proud.
When the Bears play the Vikes – I’ll think of you.

Best of Luck!
Ron,
Hopefully the move goes well for you! Glad we were all able to see you at the meeting earlier this month. Looks like the cars are back in the garage for a week or so thanks to Mother Nature. Only bad thing about where your headed is the season can be even shorter. Hope we'll all see you at the Volo event and just ask if you need any help from any of us in the meantime!

Ron and Sue,
Say it isn’t so! I hardly had the opportunity to discuss your cobra building experience over a few Heinekens and tell you I definitely love the color, even though it’s RED. But now I’ve learned you’re moving to Minnesota! (Isn’t Minnesota a Southern Canadian province?)
Kidding aside, I wish you a Sue all the best in your new home and continued success in all future endeavors. Please keep in touch via the Club Cobra web site. The next time you’re in town, the Heinekens on me.
Take care,
Frank

How sad that you guys have to leave us. I was just getting to know you guys. You brought some dignity and respect to the club. Now all thats left are all of those wierdos,, I won't mention any names 'cause I'm sure you alredy know who they are.
We didn't get a chance to do a road trip up to Plainfield: maybe you can arrange a snake and egger in Minnesota at the Mall of America for us. That would be a great weekender (ya, aye!!)
(Canadian slang for (right!).
Any way, you guys will be missed. I have an idea maybe you could put your car in storage here in Chicago (in my garage) and then when there is a snake and egger called you could fly down and I can pick you up at Midway or Ohare in your Cobra. That would be great!!! And I promis that I would not drive her without your permission and when I do I will treat her as if she belonged to,,,,,,, Avis! And I also won't let Sid drive or ride in her either.
See you at the next gathering and please gas up before you leave.
Your Cobra pal
