WCCC Saturday Dyno Day
Hi everyone,
We have one remaining spot available for this Saturday’s WCCC Dyno day and cruise. Please call or e-mail me if you interested.
Don’t forget to sign up for our noon May 7th Strat’s Car Show and meeting. See the Club Cobra e-mail thread for additional information.
Most importantly…please remember that Mother’s Day is Sunday May 8th and my birthday in July.

Sid,
We have nine cars signed up for Saturday's dyno day and don't if he can handle ten. I'll call and ask him tomorrow and let you know.
I'm sure it wil rain Saturday some where in the world, but not in the Midwest.
I have faith.

You guys will be there most of the day, right?, I've got some dad duties - Alex's softball practice @ 11:00 AM but I think the car must be driven somewhere tomorrow. Hopefully I can make it later in the afternoon.

Excellent event Frank.....
I hope all the members of the "Windy City Polar Bear Club" made it home safe and dry....
And a big thank you to Dan and his wife for the great food and conversation...Once again, the Cobra Family opened their arms to more fellow Cobra owners ....Dan will sleep well tonight after going up and down those stairs 100 times.....
And Dan, thanks for topping off my turn signal fluid...

Dan,
Now that you are rested up from yesterday’s WCCC dyno marathon visit, I would like to personally thank you and your wife Tammy for opening your shop to our club. Speaking for the club, we were impressed with your shop’s equipment, your personal automotive expertise and due diligence to test, identify, and resolve engine problems. We had a great time, but for you it was a long day and we appreciated your perseverance.
Please thank Tammy for the endless pots of freshly brewed coffee, cookies, and a hot lunch. (Lunch was a pleasant surprise and definitely hit the spot!)
We left knowing our cars were operating at improved efficiency and with wide ear-to-ear grins!
Thanks again,
Frank

Dear Cobra pals:
Frank sure knows how to put together a great day. Even though the weather was chilly what a great day with a bunch of great people. The ride out was awesome 8 cobras flying down the tollway weaving in and out of traffic at neckbreaking speeds getting thumbs up from the people being passed.
Dan and Tammy were super people treating us like old friends insted of new acquaintences. It made us feel very welcomed. I am sure that many of the WCC members will be revisiting thier shop again in the future. I know that I will.
The chilly ride home was great! Taking the long way home, riding west into the sunset , fingers numb, eyes watering from the cold brisk wind, how sweet it is,,,,,,,,,,,
Thanks everyone:

Dan-
Thanks again to your hospitality and expertise! I definitely learned even more about performance tuning. I couldn't agree more with wolfie, the ride there was a lot of fun and hangin' with the guys was great. Numbers?! You don't need no stinkin' numbers! Just kidding, I ran 429hp and 436torque at the rear wheels.

I'm just a little dog running in a big dog's world. Dan found some slight issues with my car breaking up around 5000 rpms and dropping off (ignition problem). He made a bunch of adjustments to the carb and my car now starts very easily and idles perfect. We didn't put the car back on the dyno after changing out the broken rotor but this was most likely my issue. I will have to wait until the next time I make a trip down to Dan's to buy a new carb to see what kind of improvements can be made.
The under 400 rwhp and tq club, just a little dog, sorry.
Thank you, Dan for your input and adjustments.
Until next winter.......................
P.S.
All I know is if I was Erik, I would be embarrassed getting beat at the strip by my little pooch.
