WCCC 6/19 autocross opportunity at NIU

Rich, Dave, Wolfie, and myself ran into an autocross that the Miata club had going on a couple of weeks ago while we were cruising the backroads. They said we were welcome to join them at any of their events.

On 6/19 at Northern Illinois University they are having an event and I think I'm going to try to make it.

Is anybody else interested?

Man! It won't be done in time that day. Didn't they say you should get there around 8:45am to check in? 9am is the sign-in cut off and driver meeting at 9:15.

Well I went and did it again...

Bought the Chase Cam. http://www.chasecam.com/bulletcam.htm

I also picked up a mount from them. Now all I need is a recorder. Thinking about using a PVR.

I probably won't use it till the Fling so if somebody wants to test it out for me at the AutoX email me.

How much memory will it hold? The ones I'm looking at are 20-60gig. I need it to be able to connect to the chaseCam. ChaseCam is coming out with a PVR but its not available yet. I need to make sure I can connect to one before buying. And I also have a Mic coming with the Cam. I'm going to wait till it shows up before getting one. If you get yours maybe we can test it out?

I bid on item# 5780102143. But the recorded picture size is 320/240 thats too small. there is one that does 640/480 or something. that would be perfect but I don't think it has the AV inputs I need.
