CONGRATS !!!
Sid I thought the day would never come.
I am expecting to see that Cobra face.
You know the huge smile......
and at the same time hoping
nothing falls off or breaks.

Sid, because you have BMW suspension, you'll need a 4 wheel alignment for it to be right.
My BDR #258 still hasn't arrived. I'm supposed to call the dispatcher today. Enjoy your new car.
Hank...waiting in San Diego...

Sid, with time to spare?
Sid,
Way to go! Congrats from all of us on your record build out! Great to see all the help you received! You still have two days to spare before hitting the open road! How's the transmission acting? Trust everything is okay! Should be a great weekend for you and for the rest of us that will get to see you enjoying your new pride and joy! See you soon!

Tom,
I will make it to London with MY cobra. The issue is that I would like a trailer near by just in case. I'll pass on the word that your services are available! Thanks buddy!
Gary,
The Trans seems just fine but I have not had a chance to try all the gears. I have only used 1st and reverse. The master cylinder for the clutch seems like it keeps leaking air into the system. Thats another issue I have to deal with. The goal for today is to get it buttoned up and on the road and try all the gears. And yes I will take it easy!
The fuel leak was fixed THANKS TO E&R they had a 8 AN fuel line setup but with the wrong pipe going into the carb. So they just switched them out for me.
Sid

Brought the beast home tonight! On the way back I needed gas so we stopped at the BP on Randal. There was a white mustang convertable with a bunch of girls in it right next to me. "I really like you car!" Know one has ever said that to me before! I did not know what to say...somebody please chime in so I know what line to use. WOOHOO!!! its looks sweet in my garage! I can't want to drive it tomorrow to my parents house! I am so happy!
You guys made all this happen. I feel we have the greatest group of people on the planet in the club. Thank you all for keeping my dream alive and helping to make it come true.
ON TO OHIO!
Sid

Tell the girls that the car would look better if you riding in the passenger seat and see which one takes the hint I've said this before but it is worth repeating, Cobra owners are some of the best people I've ever run across in my entire life and have yet to find one that isn't true.
See you in Ohio WCCC and Sid too!

OK - here is the corroborating testimony - I actually saw Sid drive away from my shop @ 11:00 PM tues. After 5+ days of working, eating, beer drinking, thinking, corrective procedures, parts store runs, kibitzing, leak fixing, swearing, laughing, consoling, and other actions my age-handicapped brain con't remember through the sleep deprived fog, and not in order of either importance or actual time spent; the SIDMOBILE (with the Sid Seat finally on the correct side) left the incubator. I'll miss the caravan but will be there Friday before the QSL rendevous and Sid BETTER be there.
Sid your fate is in the hands of the Cobra Gods with the capable and willing hands of the WCCC caravan.
Michael
Oh by the way sometime next week, we will have a "last chance" gettogether for anyone who left tools or parts at the shop. Afterwards they're MINE!!

I tried to collect as much as I could last night. I forgot a few things like my fender covers and a bunch of sockets. But thats about it. Got most of the boxes...even the one with the 6k chip for the MSD!

Something I forgot to do.
I would like to formally thank Ken Mills Transport for doing an amazing job of getting my cobra to me.
I also would like to thank ENGINE FACTORY for building a bullet proof motor! Chris is a great guy to work with and I will forever be a positive referral for this company. Incredible service! Can't be beat!
Sid
