Wolfie,
I read your post about the ‘motorcycle incident’. Yea, many that witnessed the event say the ugly lady on the back of the motorcycle was coming from a drag class. I am not sure if it was the classes that y’all teach or one put on by your competition.
So you got most of it right except for the biggest ‘vaboomas’ part. It is really the biggest,,, the biggest… the biggest ‘Bazooka’ you ever saw.
Many that witnessed the event say that’s what she used on my tire. Now I was never in the military so I do not know the technical difference between Bazookas and Rocket launchers; so I may be a little off (that’s an understatement).
I have, however, been to Algonquin so I do know the difference between Vabooms.
I hope that explains it all.
Rich
Ps: I have held all along that the report, by many that witnessed the event, stating that the ugly pistol packing mama’s actually used a flame thrower to be a total overstatement and exaggeration of the facts. Hope this clears it all up.
Rich

You guys realize that the Dan Ryan is going to be closed starting
April 1st? and that they are still working on that mess they call 80 / 94?
Just thought I'd ask how are y'all thinking of getting there?
Thanks

The city guys need to escape to the suburbs first out 90 or 55; then follow 294 south to 80 west to 57 south to 30 east & the Cracker Barrel. Only the normal messed up roads, no real construction other than "Open Road" by Rod.
I think Rich's Motorcycle girlfriend may be following this post & will attempt to finish him off. Don't worry Rich, we'll protect you

Yep Richie,,your definitley gonna need protection, then again a studly guy like you should always wear protection might I suggest, rubber golloshes, or maybe a bullet proof latex raincoat. That should protect you and us from just about anything.

Hi everyone,
Although it’s only Monday, Saturday’s long range weather predication is for partly cloudy with a high temperature of 63 degrees. (Typical April weather.) I’m planning on driving my car to our scheduled 100 day S & E and wondering if any Western contingent WCCC members would like to meet at my place, or some where in transit, and caravan to breakfast together.

Gentlemen, if my car does not stop puking coolant, I may be driving the Grand Prix!!!. I am starting to get worried that it is a head gasket, and plan on doing a compression test tonight or Wednesday. Also plan on getting a cooling system pressure testor.

Tom, how much is it puking and does it go into a puke tank? You know that the coolant will not be (and should not be) right at the top of the highest point of your coolant system. As a comparison, a car with a standard radiator, the fluid will be several inches below the filler neck because when the engine is hot it will puke out about a quart or so (depending on the capacity of the coolant system).
Need more info if you are familiar with the above and there are other issues.
Ralph

Sid
What is CB?
Oh God, I am stupid right-- I got it....
Okay, but are y'all meeting someplace then caravanning down as I group.
I will either need a Sid Seat or a decent way to avoid the Ryan; it all depends on the parts God.....
The suggestion of out 290 or 55 and pick-up 294 seems like a fairly good idea.
Anyone meeting along this route?
Rich

Plan is to meet @ Hinsdale Oasis (southbound 294), leaving there @ 8:00 am for CB. For the city guys - means coming out 290 as the oasis is north of 55. the western & northern guys would probably come down 294 anyway. Since this is a trip to the Souside for us, we're scared & want to travel in a pack. Rich, I have it from a confidential source that the motorcycle mamas are not on the Ryan anymore, but there is some safety in numbers. You were alone (no witmesses) when the grenade was fired, right?

Sounds like a plan Mike,
I'll meet everyone at the Oasis.
Last one to the Oasis buys coffee for the club.

Blas, I would like to buy an "i" and a "u",,,,,, There does that help you any Richie?
I regret That I will not be able to attend the 100 day event. I have to take my lovely wife back to Rodchester on friday and won't make it back till late saturday. Since Chris missed the last few events I gave him a direct order that he must attend the event to represent our family honor.
No,,,no,,,, no,,,thats not right ,,,,, what I ment to say is,,,,,
I have recieved several emails from members of this fine establishment requesting that I do not attend this years 100 day event because of the embarrassments I caused the club with the fuel problem I had with my car last year .
Yaaaa thats it,,,,, thats my story and I'm sticking to it!!!
You all have a safe fun trip .
P.S. I sure hope that Kim's car will be ready, I know she has got to be excited. The first "Chick" car owner in the club, maybe a new trend setter!!
